G: Handler (SDX compatible if poosible). :)

Fri Sep 8, 2017 9:24 PM

Does anyone have the G: Handler?  IIRC, You could LIST"G:" to print ATASCII on an Epson printer.

I really need to print some ATASCII files I have so I can make them as consistent as possible.

COPY MAINMENU.ATA, G: should also work as well.

I had this BITD, does anyone remember this?

Basically, I want to print all my BBS menus, etc. so I have a reference when editing them. I want to make this look nice.

I definitely remember the G: handler. I just hope someone else does as well (that has the file).

Wanted: Indus-GT RAMCharger DOSXL 2.35i2.ATR

Wed Jul 5, 2017 6:47 PM

I have been looking for the DOS-XL disk for the Indus RAMCharger.  I can't find it. Gooble was no help...

One piece of advice, if you have RAM in your Indus, make sure there is a good insulator between the board and that drive mounting screw that sticks out.  Mine (over time) developed an H0 error (Hardware).  I folded a piece of heavy paper and put in between.  Problem solved.

Any and all versions of any Indus stuff would be appreciated.  I want to tweak SuperSync again. :)

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Gooble was NOT a typo.

Atarimax 8Mb Flashcarts Old vs New.

Tue May 23, 2017 6:24 PM

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything.

Is there a tool that will convert binary images to and from the old / new format?  How is it different, banking order?

I found a file I want to use with my Ultimate SD cart, but Altirra shows no .car type for it.

Windows TELNET.EXE Echo Issue

Tue Apr 25, 2017 6:54 PM

Here is the Telnet client from Win 2K Pro.  It behaves properly when connecting to BBSs.  The one that ships with XP has a problem because it echoes locally typed characters. Win 7 and later seem to have no telnet installed by default.  This one should work for you.

Extract these files to c:\windows\system32.

Edit: Make sure to cancel any and all Windows File Protection dialogs when you replace the files.
