  1. flashjazzcat: yes it's novel and has some problems with conversion.. dankcomputing: it's an interesting idea.. but it's no compatibile with standard Atari charger.. something for something
  2. I propose a VBXE version .. 320x240 256 colors.. why not
  3. I know, it's a risk to connect wrong cable .. I know, because once I did it.. Luckily my Atari still live.. From this moment I use different cables (or mark red tape cable from power supply) .. Now it's OK.. I have in my Atari many upgrades (Rapidus, U1MB, VBXE, Second Pokey, Covox, Sio2BT), and I'm proud that my Atari still looks original.. Only differences it's a two little holes in a monitor socket Otherwise it's a solution to protect.. Use a 8DIN socket and blind (glue) one hole.. 6 or 7 and use hole 8 to signal from blind hole.. Regards
  4. Hi! I propose my solution of video out signals without any additional holes.. I have stereo and vbxe. Signals from vbxe i converted to s-video. I replace original din5 socket to din7 socket (like power socket). In my din7 socket I have: pin 1 - S-VIDEO VBXE LUMA pin 2 - GND pin 3 - AUDIO L (stereo first pokey) + COVOX L pin 4 - COMPOSITE ATARI (original signal) pin 5 - S-VIDEO VBXE CHROMA pin 6 (bottom of pin 1) - AUDIO R (stereo second pokey) + COVOX R pin 7 (bottom of pin 3) COMPOSITE VBXE This solution is fully compatibile with original din 5 cable.. Regards
  5. Directly from side loader D2D run, but there are problems when the wavs are saved far on the card meybe > 32MB.. I play wavs from Sparta dos, they plays well. Best results I have, if I load side 3.2 driver and play D2D and wav from APT patrition.. With Rapidus I could play 5bit 65kHz (max set in D2D). This frequency works only with SIDE with KMK max is about 55kHz if I remember.. D2D with RAPDISK.SYS works if I first load side.sys (v3.2) and next RAPDISK.SYS. D2D is good tools to test transmission speed (hardware/software).
  6. I send You (mail) D2D program and Gods.wav. You set 8>6 bit and 44000kHz. *I don't know how attach this file in this forum Regards
  7. Hi. Thanks flashjazzcat for advice with rapidus.. Now i see right option in menu.. I have another question about side2 driver. U1MB has a internal driver to side 2 (i don't know what version). This driver works with FATfs driver but don't respectively works with RAPIDISK.SYS and with VBXE (if I play wav in D2D the screen (voice graph) interrupts.. ?) With this driver (without RAPIDISK.SYS) I could play wavs directly from FAT partition. Only if I load external SIDE2 driver 3.2 (SIDE.SYS) RAPDISK.SYS works fine (VBXE too). If I try load FATfs and after D2D program, I have 179 memory conflict (with internal SIDE driver is ok).. What is the difference between internal SIDE2 driver and external SIDE 3.2 driver? Regards
  8. Hello, i updated my u1mb to new version and all looks very nice, but i have rapidus and i don't see option rapidus on/off.. where is it. It's important option, because give possibility to use cartriges with rapidus.. no conflict.. regards
  9. There are differences beetween GTIA and VBXE at the same monitor and monitor settings: GTIA: VBXE:

  11. The color palette laoo in VBXE is wrong. "Real Arari" (from GTIA) has better colors. Just compare backround of basic between VBXE and GTIA. On VBXE blue color is to light. In ACP (Atari Control Picture) we can see differences beetween black color and first grey.. grey is too light.
