  11. er yeah so what system is that on the top right corner? (when hovering over forum link)
  12. Eh? I don't remember how the pricing changed on the various 3DO models that were released, but certainly I don't recall any cheap version of the NeoGeo! --Zero The cd based neo-geo came out at about half the price of the premium cartridge based system. The goldstar 3do($399) was also less than the original price of the panasonic 3do. The PS3 just got another price cut and is available for $399/40gb but not backwards compatible. I think the xbox 360 is soon to follow and at the moment don't see nintendo lowering the price on the wii.
  13. Good point, just to piggy back on that also the neo-geo($649) and later the 3do($699) were ridiculously expensive at the time. As always years later they came out with cheaper versions. The days of the "cheepie" system are not over and as long as newer, faster, and/or more powerful systems are released, previous gen prices will fall. Until of course they become classics and then basic rules of economics come into play scarcity and demand can push prices back up.
