  1. would like to find/purchase at reasonable cost the Avocet AVMAC65 package. thanks. Ken
  2. hi, I was wondering if anyone here has the cross assembler avmac65. it was used to make a good amount of the commodore games BITD. it is actually a number of programs including avmac65.exe, avlink, adp.exe, avlib.exe, etc. thanks for any responses. Ken
  3. damn! I did not see that either. and I did pre-insert cards to verify the connectors were ok. I did not look close enough after. those are pins 49 and 50 which are used by component gnd(49) and +12v(50) which are not used for anything I know of right now. I also do not think they are touching but a meter check would be in order for me. I will check the board schematics I have to be sure though. I would like to get that fixed somehow though. let me know. cuz I do not like that capacitor laying down on the job either.
  4. here is a photo of mine using the exact same caps I sent you. they just have to be put in the board at the same time then soldered. but either way it will work fine. Ken
  5. okay, foft said he is going to open the design files. I think that is a very good move.so, thank you foft.
  6. I would like to see the design files opened. I think that would be the best thing to do for the Atari community.
  7. I vote no on getting duddie to do this. he will want the pokey, antic, gtia core code to be private. that is against the author's intent as stated in the first post in this topic.
  8. the resistor on the right is 22 ohms, not 220. I also think the resistor just to right of transistor is 1.2K ohm. the others look correct. that is all according to my very old eyes. thanks. Ken
  9. that one will probably be extinct in 2 weeks. like so much in the pc industry. it aint broke so let's fix it anyway!
  10. The E: handler is built into the video card. That is the atari spec. Could always load another from disk or cart but that defeats the purpose. Ken
  11. I am trying to get an enclosure figured out that won't break the bank. It is not an easy task though. thanks for everyone's patience in this matter! Ken
  12. nice showing. really nice photos. I see the 1090XL remake with a card plugged in. I would have hoped to see an original 1090XL tho but, oh well. maybe next year. I would have liked to attended this year but had other obligations. anyway, lots of nice vintage computers!
  13. hi David, I am glad to see you are back! I feel some of your pain. I have had metal braces put in. great pics man. hope you can get your accounts merged. Ken
