Hi Atarians! Here in Hamburg, Germany, happen strange things. We all know these guys that walk around at dark nights, with bagpacks filled with spray-tins and spray their tags/logos on white walls. That's what you do, if you don't know how to make it better. In German: "Ein alter Hut!" The retro-modern version of tagging walls is the following (seen everywhere here in Hamburg): There is a guy, who makes glazed tiles (German: Kacheln) with Space Invaders on it!!! He works in dark nights and walks throu the city and glues them - the glazed tiles - to nice city houses, shops, banks, churches...everywhere...very high...so it is very hard to get rip of them. He is not using glue but cement. Very hard to unplug the glazed tiles. So this is a nice story and I could end it here - but it is getting better. On his next foray throu the city he is not only plugging new glazed tiles on new walls. No. He goes to the places where he plugged the glazed tiles last time and when they are removed by the shop-owner, banker or priest he gives a high-score to where once the plug was. So, when I go to town and look for the glazed tiles and they are removed, I see a score!!! So that is complet ahead of all I know. It is the best way to give the city a retro-design...

I'm still looking for an Activision font ! The following may work well...but who has these? Avant Garde EF Bold or ITC Avant Garde Bold or Futura EF Bold Anyone out in the wild who can help ?

Hi Atarians! There has always been a site, where I found most game-mauals. But that site is dead now... It was a very good site! All mauals had been dumped as scanned .pdf-File with very good resolution. Do you know where I could get these mauals now? Let's have a look behind the wall...There is a site, that presents several "game rooms". I was a little (really a little) bit shocked about these pics. I mean, what will you tell a fresh met, innocent girl, that you take to your apartment (first time!). You have proofed that you are interesting enough and a nice, kind guy. She is proud about such a beautiful stallion by her side... and than, when opening the door and she thinks about what cocktails you can mix...she sees this mess: What will be her first reaction? Maybe she is the happiest girl in town and jumps to the board and gets the loved "combat" and you two play for the next hours (...Atari)...(...not the other things you could play)...(Grand Prix,etc). Another reaction could be that she cleans the flat from the top to the buttom...It's your first meeting (marry her, if she does that!!!) I mean, when is it enough? Someone, who is much more intelligent as me, has asked me years ago: "How high can you get?" Yes, he has asked you the same question...It was a monkey! But this monkey knows what is important in live! And he has kipnapped a busty redhead for entertainment...(It was DK). How does your room look like? Equal to that above? In that case: stop! So are there other companys out there? I have some games from "Telegames", the company that released Bump'n Jump (I love it - most the Arcade-Version)...from that company I also have: Lock ' Chase, Quest for Quintana Roo and some more. These games were formaly brought out by others like M-Network or INTV. Is Telegames a re-releaser? Which companys worked together? AND another topic: Are there any companys that have used "stolen" game codes like the - I think so - stolen "Chopper command" code used in "pyramid war"?

"International Edition" with English, French, Spanish, Italian and German printed on the label, are PAL. They must be PAL, because in Germany, Spain, Italien, France, Canada (?), Australia....rules the PAL-TV-System...And I am a PAL Boy from Germany...

I think - and I had the same problem with my sixer - it is the adjustable resistor (short: AR) inside your console.There are two ARs (RF and Sound)inside the 2600. Just open the system, look to the left and use a small hexagonal recess wrench to justage the colors. The system must be connected to the TV. If you are really cool, you will make a hole into the button-casing - so you can allways justage the 2600 while it is closed. Make sure the AR is clean and not oxidated. Clean it with contact-spray... This will help!!! Make it. It is not the power supply or anything like this!!! Look here in the button-left corner. This is the AR to clean and to adjust.
