  1. You have to press down on the joystick and push the button at the same time to actually pitch the ball. Enjoy.
  2. This is probably a really stupid question but..... Does anyone know where i can buy an Atari 2600? I mean an actual physical store....I don't want to buy anything off the internet. I have around 50 old atari carts, but my Atari 2600 doesn't work anymore, and all my joysticks are broken too. Can you still buy them anywhere new?
  3. Any of the games by Mythicon (Starfox, FireFly, Sorcerer) are ridiculously easy (and pointless).
  4. I like locking the bat in one of the castles.
  5. I enjoy Centipede on the Atari 2600. I've mastered it to such an extent that i find it difficult to lose a life. I keep wrapping my score around to zero again and again until i get bored of playing it and turn the game off.
  6. I was flipping through the channels and saw the same thing. Actually she said the beating was done with the paddles, not the joystick...
  7. I've never gotten past the first two enemies. Can you give us some advice?
  8. Interesting. I don't really know how to judge the "condition" of the cart. If you look at the cartscan here at AtariAge there are markings and blotches all over the cart. My cart has no marks at all on it. It practically looks like new. I don't have the box, unfortunately. I recently began looking at my Atari carts which i had stored in my attic. I have about 50 or so. I actually owned all these carts, none have been purchased by me to add to my "collection". Unfortunately, my Atari console is broken so i can't actually play the games anymore, except with an emulator of course. As a completely unrelated question, do people collect the manuals too, or are people mostly interested in the cartridges themselves? I have all the manuals stored away somewhere... Is the rarity guide here at AtariAge for the carts, or the complete cart/manual/unopened box?
  9. I own a tomarc the barbarian / motocross racer double-ender cart. I was curious how much this cart is worth. Its rarity is listed as a 9 here at AtariAge. Can anyone estimate? Does anyone know why this cart is considered so rare, when other xonox double-enders are nowhere near as rare?
  10. Hmm... You're right. The rom from AA is only 16k. I'll give that a try. Thanks!
  11. Has anyone been able to get the Atari 2600 game "Fatal Run" to work on any emulator. I have PCAE 2.6 One thing i have noticed is that the rom is 32k, which doesn't seem right to me, since no other game is more than 16k. I have 2 versions of the rom from different sources, and both are 32k. Any suggestions on how to get this game to work would be greatly appreciated.
  12. For Atari2600 i recommend PCAE 2.6. For Super Nintendo i recommend ZSNES (i think the sound is better than with snes9x). For Nintendo i recommend Nesticle or FCE Ulta. All of the above have network support. Enjoy!
  13. The controller(s) DO work. I don't know why so many people have trouble getting controllers to work with this emulator. I agree that the interface to set up controllers is somewhat counter-intuitive, but they DO work. I have 2 Gravis Gamepad Pros (USB) and they work perfectly.
