  1. Thanks. I was able to try out Blasto on the js99er.net site. The emulator was a little laggy, though. I got the game if Blasto to work on the js99er.net. Thank you so much.
  2. I cannot figure out how to run a cartridge game ROM file on the Classic99 TI-99/4A emulator. I want to play Blasto, but I cannot get it to work. It is unfortunate that I can only choose the built in cartridge game ROMs, instead of the custom cartridge game ROMs for the Classic99. Blasto isn't even one of the built in games for the Classic99. I tried putting in Blasto.ctg, and nothing. There's hardly any tutorials on how to use the Classic99 TI-99/4A emulator which is unfortunate. What happened to the simple just select File and Open to choose a game on some emulators? On the Nintendo emulator and Super Nintendo emulator it is easy to get a game going on with just selecting File and Open. It is hard to get a custom cartridge game ROM to run on the TI-99/4A emulator. I even tried Win994a Simulator and still no luck with getting custom cartridge game ROMs to work. Is there any way to get the custom cartridge game ROMs to run on the Classic99 TI-99/4A emulator?
  3. Can the Atari 2600 Stella Emulator perform the, "Hold on to the Game Reset Switch without letting go" effect? If it's possible for the Atari 2600 Stella Emulator to do that, how would you do that, on the Atari 2600 Stella Emulator? Some video games make interesting noises, if you hold on to the Game Reset Switch without letting go, like Defender. If you do it to Popeye, when he loses a life, you can get the music to play at a low pitch sound. You could do that on the original physical Atari 2600 6 Switcher/Atari 2600 4 Switcher. You could not do that on the physical Atari 2600, Jr or Atari 7800. Just curious if any Atari 2600 Emulator, could do that.
  4. Wow..., So MAME can emulate the coin-operated video arcade games and the Coleco Adam? I'll give it a try. I do have a disk image file of SmartBasic. Thanks.
  5. Can SmartBasic for the Adam computer be emulated on a PC computer? I would like to see what SmartBasic looks like. I never got to use SmartBasic on the Adam computer, before. I've used Basic on the Apple II computers, before. It would be interesting to see SmartBasic for the Adam computer, be emulated on an Apple Macintosh computer. I would like to try out SmartBasic for the Adam computer, being emulated on a Windows PC computer, like Windows 7 or Windows 10.
  6. Is there a Game Genie Code for Super Mario Bros. 1, that will let you hear the full song of the Sub-Space theme from Super Mario Bros. 2? Is there a Game Genie Code for Super Mario Bros. 2, that will let you hear the full song of Doki Doki Panic overworld theme? Super Mario Bros. 1 has the classic full overworld song, but I would like to hear it in the Super Mario Bros. 2 Sub-Space style. Super Mario Bros. 2 has the full unedited song of the overworld song, but I would like to hear in the the style of Doki-Doki Panic, with the Nintendo's 8 bit clarinet instead of the Nintendo's 8 bit banjo. Doki Doki Panic's overworld song is shorter and edited. Here are some song examples of what I mean: Super Mario Bros 2 VS Doki Doki Panic Overworld: Super Mario Bros. 2: 0:00-0:02 Nintendo's 8 Bit Banjo Instrument 0:02-0:11 Nintendo's 8 Bit Clarinet 0:12-0:40 Nintendo's 8 Bit Banjo Instrument Doki Doki Panic: 1:28-1:59 Nintendo's 8 Bit Clarinet except song cuts off and starts over again at: 1:59. I want to make 0:12-0:40 be Nintendo's 8 bit clarinet instrument instead of Nintendo's 8 bit banjo instrument. Above Ground BGM - Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Mario Bros. 3 Overworld theme with Nintendo's 8 bit banjo instrument. Super Mario Bros 3Mix OST + - Famiclon Edition: 13:55 Super Mario Bros. 3 Overworld Theme with Nintendo's 8 bit clarinet instrument. Super Mario Brothers ROM Hack - Mushroom Nightmare - World 1: Super Mario Bros. Theme using Nintendo's 8 bit banjo instrument instead. The song is being played in minor. I want to hear it in major. Super Mario Bros. 2 OST: Sub Space: Super Mario Bros.2 Sub-Space Theme using the edited shorter version of the original Super Mario Bros. 1 Theme song. Original Super Mario Bros. Theme song using Nintendo's 8 bit banjo instrument. Any Game Genie Codes, that can alternate the 2 square wave instruments from Nintendo's 8 bit clarinet to Nintendo's 8 bit banjo aka Nintendo's 8 bit banjo to Nintendo's 8 bit clarinet for Super Mario Bros. 1 & Super Mario Bros. 2?
  7. I realized that I copied these games to another disk by using DOS 2.5 and those two games must of had a copy protection. Some of the games require a good image, before they can be copied to another disk properly. My friend must of used some copier program, that could copy those games properly. It probably depends on what program or software you use to copy the files.
  8. The Option key always worked on my computer. I do remember the PEEK(53279) command whenever I would program in Basic for the Atari. POKE 54018,52 would turn on the data Atari cassette recorder, if you wanted to listen to tapes. The PEEK(53279) command detects whether or not the Option key, Select Key, or Start key were pressed, but it does not detect the Help key. The Help key uses a different peek address. The Help key also works on my computer. The Help key works in the Self Test mode.
  9. Thanks. Is there a program that could convert these games from Atari XL to Atari XE?
  10. Yes I always hold down on the Option key, whenever I boot up an arcade game for the Atari computer. They are versions of the games that a friend gave me. He probably downloaded them with his Atari modem. They worked for the XL computer, but not the XE computer.
  11. Pole Position does not seem to work with the Atari 130 XE computer, but it works with the Atari 800 XL computer. Invaders does not seem to work with the Atari 130 XE computer. The Invaders game just displays dollar signs on the screen, and freezes. Invaders worked fine with the Atari 800 XL computer. Is it possible to get Pole Position and Invaders to work on an Atari XE computer? Are there any other games that won't work with the Atari XE computer, but only work with the Atari XL computer, instead? Is there any way to get some of the other games that work fine on an Atari XL computer, to work with an Atari XE computer, if the Atari XE computer is having compatibility issues? The Pole Position game was on a floppy disk. Invaders was also on a floppy disk. Would these two games work better on a cartridge, instead. The Gorf game, that I had on cartridge didn't work for my Atari XL or Atari XE computer.
  12. Thank you for the replies. Sounds like game cartridges do not burn out, if left in the system too long. Sounds like the Donkey Kong cartridge for the Intellivision sitting around at the year 1982 was not broken for being left in the Intellivision for 24 hours. Maybe the Donkey Kong cartridge was dirty and it needed to be cleaned. Or maybe the Donkey Kong cartridge was not really broken and the people who owned the Intellivision at the 1982 time, did not really want me to play the Intellivision around the 1982 time. A strange excuse for somebody to come up with for the Donkey Kong cartridge to be broken, because it was left in the Intellivision for 24 hours, being turned on.
  13. What happens if the game cartridge is left in the Intellivision for 24 hours, while the system is turned on? Will the game cartridge burn out from leaving it in the Intellivision for 24 hours? I remember leaving an Atari cartridge in the Atari 2600 for 24 hours and it did not burn out. I notice that the Atari 2600 is forgiving if you leave the cartridge in its system too long. Is the Intellivision forgiving, if the cartridge is left in its system too long? I was asking this question out of curiousity, because somebody told me in 1982, that if you leave a cartridge in a game system too long, that it would burn out. Is it a myth or is it true, that a cartridge will burn out, if it is left in the Intellivision system too long?
