  1. I’m glad I am not the only one wondering whatever happened to this game!
  2. I was recently gifted two US toaster-style NES consoles. I can’t really get them to do much other than to do the flashing that one associates with the 10NES chip’s antics. Is there a way I can be sure that the 10 NES is at fault?
  3. Is there any word as to the progress of this game?
  4. So weirdly enough, I opened the system up, replaced the TIA (it's a socketed chip) and that -- somehow -- fixed the issue.
  5. Hey Nanochess, thanks! I'm actually following your book and trying to get some artwork transferred to the Intellivision as we speak!
  6. Wondering if anyone has had similar issues. I am using FinalGROM on my TI-99/4A with 32K and speech attached. It works mostly flawlessly with most programs that use speech (Parsec, Alpiner, Bigfoot, etc.), but there have been a few where chunks of speech get completely garbled -- certain sentences in Rasmus Moustgaard's Pinball 99 and the scores being read in Tennis by Nicesoft become complete garbage outside of "love." Has anyone else experienced these bugs? Is there a remedy to these weird bugs?
  7. Thanks. I was using a different graphics program but since I have Photoshop, I may as well do that. I appreciate it!
  8. Does IntelliTool import graphics? I have never used it. I've been having difficulty judging exactly where my 8x8 cells are when importing graphics using IntyColor so I was seeing if there was perhaps a better way than what I'm doing.
  9. Outside of IntyColor, does anyone have tools or suggestions on getting better ways of importing graphics into their programs?
  10. There were some games on The Internet Archive and several of those worked when others didn't.
  11. Any specific ones? I know I had some from another set of games but I need to remember where I got those from.
  12. I have been using Pitrex Baremetal, found at http://vide.malban.de/pitrex/pitrex-baremetal-download. Did you get the ROMs from the directory I responded to above? At least Star Wars worked for me there.
  13. My understanding -- and mind you, it's been literally DECADES since I have attempted to program in XB or on the TI in general -- was that despite the abilities XB gave, it had an extremely limited ability in terms of speech. I recall the manual having a list of words it knew, and it would spell everything else out at an agonizingly slow pace. If you were able to work within those limits or find a workaround, it could be worth it.
