  1. Way cooler than the cart. Unfortunately, Atari Ticked me off, Being on the East coast we get the Coin-op games last.. I beat S.T.U.N Runner and sent in the T-Shirt code, only to receive a letter from Atari basically saying.. congratulations, but as was stated in the game, only a limited number of shirts were available, and they are all gone.
  2. If you want to go one step further, check out a book called "Computers and Small Fries" by Mario Pagnoni, you will get my full name as I am listed in the Acknowledgements for helping the author with his questions about Atari computers.. I have an autographed copy around here somewhere.
  3. Hello, there are a couple of problems with your calculations, first, there is a bonus at the end of each round depending on the number of pieces of Atlantis that survives the assault. Its fairly easy to get to 50,000 without losing any pieces of Atlantis resulting in a large bonus, as you continue to play into the higher levels, you generally have fewer pieces left to receive your bonus. this results in it taking longer to build up your score. Try letting most of Atlantis get destroyed, and play for 5 minutes, you will notice your score is no where near 50,000. There is also another reason why it takes so long to get up that high... but if I go into details it would give away the secret.... Remember Numbers are a funny thing, ask someone what the odds are of winning the lottery, most may say 1,000,000:1, someone else may say its 50/50 either you win or you lose.... Then again, I am going from memory about a game I played 28 years ago… I believe I started playing before 8 am, and ending sometime after 10pm… Then getting my father to take a picture with the Instant camera.
  4. I don't know if this has happened, but this just feels fake. The wording just doesn't settle well with me. I dunno... it seems real to me. I agree it seems real. The seller has 463 positive feedback at 100% Actually I have had 3 negatives over the years.. 2 were retaliatory (see the 1 left for me on 4-20-2003) and the other was a mistake as they had an automated system to send feedback, and someone forgot to put into it that I paid by postal money order (system only checked for paypal payments). 2 have been removed from my feedback as the other parties involved have since been band from ebay. Just setting the record straight.
  5. As the Owner/winner/lister of this item I certainly hope not, I generally write all my descriptions at the time I post an item up. (I do have a template for Amiga computers which I sell a fair number of though)
  6. Actually about a month ago I tried to add that to the "secrets" section on the Game guide for Atlantis, but I got a system error when I tried to. I did send an email to this site with the information but it never got posted.
