  1. In Analog Magazines "An Atari 8 Bit Extra" there is game called "Lawn Mower". might be what you are thinking of. Perry
  2. I had to sell it to fund the 1meg ultimate memory upgrade, it went for quite a bit more than one i sold about 6 months ago. just trying to figure out why. (not complaining) Have an 800xl I use almost everyday.
  3. Does a low serial number make an 800 worth more than a higher one?
  4. The power supplies are different, the connectors are different. I believe the XE computers have 64K.
  5. The torrent file of all the Analog magazines seems to be missing that disk also. I would like to have it also.
  6. Check your system BIOS to see if the COM port is enabled.
  7. I'll take one, my vote is for quality. Perry
  8. Put me down for one, I just gotta have one of these. Perry
  9. Do you have a diagram of where the wires are supposed to be attached? I have the Newel 256 upgrade but have lost the instructions. Would really appreciate having them. Perry
  10. Just ran across this thread,I'm 53 and live in western North Carolina ( Hendersonville) got my first Atari about 1977 ( VCS ) and a 400 a short time later, then a 800xl when they came out. Still have the original and it works great. I remember getting a loan to buy my first floppy drive, i think it was around $400.00. Hadn't used my Atari in years and was going to sell it on Ebay, when I saw all the stuff for sale I ended up buying more. Now I keep it set up and try to play it everyday.
  11. Is it possible to read the SpartaDOS realtime clock in BASIC? I am trying to write a short program that will save data every 30 minutes or so. thanks
  12. Thanks for the help, it's been a long time since i used that tape drive.
