I was the Buy It NOW winner and the guy sent me this official looking invoice that claims to be from ebay@Ebay.com: Something smells dirty here. First the odd stuff: His paypal button is his own, not a official BIN. he only takes Buy It Now if you read his desc,its not a auction-bugt its not a real ebay BIN. the transaction doesnt show up in ebay purchases. this odd invoice was sent that ebay cant verify. he insists on Moneygram payment only which ebay doesn't allow. the payment wants to go to the UK,but he is from Georgia. he wouldn't take a certified bank check from me instead. Moneygram doesn't allow credit card payment to go thru,so no recourse if you are cheated. Too many red flags here! He is either a smart crook or is trying to thwart all ebay fees, not sure which. I called ebay and they say this does not look right and voilates their terms. I urge everyone to avoid this. I sent him a email about this and he has quit replying to me now. All the choices he specifies are to make the transaction untrackable. Hi all, i have a old cf7 (not the + version) and i cant seem to get it to load anything. My setup is as follows: stock ti99/4a I have extended basic cart and a diskmanager2 cart. the cf7 has a 8MB sandisk card. it formats fine and i am using Ti99dir v5.3b 20100215 to move files to the cf. Can i use this without some type of ram expansion and could anyone point me to the docs for this device or shed some light on what i could be doing wrong? I have recently gotten back into the ti and a step by step tutorial on how to load the card up right and use it on the TI would be really helpful. so far i have tried this: format the card to fat put it in the ti and use call format(1) to format it put it back in the pc and used tidir to setup the files into a dsk image and copy it all over to the card. i can see the files on the card with diskmanager2 i goto basic and call mount(1,1) then quit to extended basic and i assumed it would auto start but doesn't. i am unsure what to do from here. thanks, Mike

Thanks for the heads up. So, they are 68060s but without the FPU? [like a 386sx on the Intel side?]. Are they usable in conjunction with a 68882? Well because the 68040/060 had the fpu internal, i dont know of any boards that allow a 68882 to be fitted,so i would have to say no. It would also be quite slower having a external FPU(which is why motorola put them inside and improved them). In theory it could be done i guess but would be much work for little gain. Motorola made 3 chips version which were: EC which is a embedded controller missing FPU and MMU LC which was missing the FPU but with working MMU (mac's used 68040 LC's) XC not a fully qualified part RC which is a full chip with MMU and FPU (fully qualified) There were of course FE and RP packages denoting plastc package etc.

Hello everyone, i Don't post much here being a amiga user mainly(and having a A8 with MG mio) but i wanted to warn all the communities that can use the 68060 chips about some fakes on ebay. I originally bought 40 chips of seller I.V.TAN that appeared to be real,but were not. Fake 68060 71e41J cpu's on ebay Anyone considering buying the 68060 chips from seller I.V.TAN on ebay don't bother. I won all of them (40) originally and they are fake. WhichAmiga reports them as rev4 LC chips. sent the info back to him with the chips and got a refund. He aparently does not deem it necessary to tell people they are fakes.. they are listed for scrap gold now,so i doubt you will get a refund if you buy them with intentions of using them in accelerators. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 280803982233 These are china remark fake 68lc060's rev 4 remarked to the 71e41J mask. they are missing the fpu. they are NOT revision 6 chips as marked.
