'alpha build' was a letter game for kids made by fisher price
ah, ok. thank you. I also have a ton of games where all the labels look exactly the same, but the name of the game is different. the label was printed, not hand written. they were games like "Contra" "Gauntlet I" "Gauntlet II" "Ikari Warriors" and so on.
one of them says exactly....
GAMES/SINGLE 215 L5
ROAD WAR 2000
LOAD * ,8,1
the other side is the same except its a different game
GAMES/SINGLES 214 L4
SPEED RUMBLER
LOAD * ,8,1
I'm new to the who C64 stuff, but its really interesting to me. I'm going to try and get one hooked up and running soon.
All together I got
C64 x5
C128 x2
Atari 520STM
Atari 1040ST
Atari 1200XL.
I got a lot of Amiga software but I don't seem to have gotten an Amiga system...
The disk drives I have are
Atari SF314
Atari SF354 2x
Atari 1050
Commodore 1571 x3
Commodore 1541 x3
and 2 different cassette drives.
As said above, the disks are probably home-printed copies.
It looks like you got a nice haul, even if there's no betas or other ultra-rare stuff.
yeah, it is really nice. I got over 300 games I'm 100% are real. about 20 boxed games or so. I don't really like the idea of the fake games though, I like to have the real thing. with this "lot" I've gotten, it's definitely inspired me to collect. I can't wait to find more boxed or even loose real games.
Both of my C128 have memory problems it seems, but I got a C64 working perfectly. I don't even know if there is a reason to get the C128 to work since I have read that most things run in C64 mode anyways on the C128.
If anyone knows any good places to get big lots of C64 and Atari computers games, let me know. thanks!
