  1. I wanted to somewhat customize the logo, but this is a great idea if I give up on that and cant find one
  2. I got a replacement shell on my Dreamcast but it's lacking the logo that goes on the disk cover on the system. Does anyone have a template for it? I tried making one myself but it's an ugly mess.
  3. So I've heard that a lot of games that dont say they are improved by the 8MB expansion jumper actually have a noticeable improvement in framerate and other things. What I'm wondering is if someone made a custom 16MB expansion, do you think these games would have an even greater improvement? Most of these games came out before the 8MB jumper even existed so I dont think it was a planned improvment
  4. Hello. I got a HUGE lot of commodore disks, probably over 6000 disks at the least. I got over 400 games that are obviously original games (gauntlet, dig dug and so on). I got a ton of what appear to be from monthly magazines (loadstar and one that starts with a G). Individual store newsletters and a bunch saying "public domain" this and that. demos to tons of pirated games. What I want to know is is there anything I should be really looking for? disks with certain initials or words on them. rare software? anything that is of interest at all. Oh and another thing I have about 8 of are a disk that says "tag! your it!" Thanks for helping
  5. I am in Chantilly VA. it looks like these games came from somewhere in PA. I don't know who had them before that though. can you explain what a "demoscene prods" is and how to tell if I have any? I'm new to collecting, in this area of games, and I'm not sure. I'll upload pictures in a few mins Demoscene If you see anything that looks like it's not a game, but still has a "group" name (similar to a cracking group name, since the demoscene was borne from the cracking scene), then it might be from the demoscene. how did they look compared to your old ones?
  6. here are some images of the games. besides these, there were ones marked as "Music" instead of games, but the labels were the same. there are also tons of disks that looks like they came from magazines. many many other "sets" were they had similar labels but I wasn't sure what they were

  8. If you want to work out some kinda trade for "real" games, let me know. there are over 420 of them.
  9. 'alpha build' was a letter game for kids made by fisher price ah, ok. thank you. I also have a ton of games where all the labels look exactly the same, but the name of the game is different. the label was printed, not hand written. they were games like "Contra" "Gauntlet I" "Gauntlet II" "Ikari Warriors" and so on. one of them says exactly.... GAMES/SINGLE 215 L5 ROAD WAR 2000 LOAD * ,8,1 the other side is the same except its a different game GAMES/SINGLES 214 L4 SPEED RUMBLER LOAD * ,8,1 I'm new to the who C64 stuff, but its really interesting to me. I'm going to try and get one hooked up and running soon. All together I got C64 x5 C128 x2 Atari 520STM Atari 1040ST Atari 1200XL. I got a lot of Amiga software but I don't seem to have gotten an Amiga system... The disk drives I have are Atari SF314 Atari SF354 2x Atari 1050 Commodore 1571 x3 Commodore 1541 x3 and 2 different cassette drives. As said above, the disks are probably home-printed copies. It looks like you got a nice haul, even if there's no betas or other ultra-rare stuff. yeah, it is really nice. I got over 300 games I'm 100% are real. about 20 boxed games or so. I don't really like the idea of the fake games though, I like to have the real thing. with this "lot" I've gotten, it's definitely inspired me to collect. I can't wait to find more boxed or even loose real games. Both of my C128 have memory problems it seems, but I got a C64 working perfectly. I don't even know if there is a reason to get the C128 to work since I have read that most things run in C64 mode anyways on the C128. If anyone knows any good places to get big lots of C64 and Atari computers games, let me know. thanks!

  11. I just recently got a hold of a TON of C64/128 stuff. 8 boxes full of diss and games, 10 atari, C64/128, disk drives... just a ton of stuff. I was going through the boxes of software and there are some games that say ""Alpha Build "Fisher Price"" and so on. A lot of the stuff is a label with just writing on it. I cant tell what is real or pirated (I dont know if people did that back then) let me know to help me sort things out. Ill have some pictures later if anyone wants to see some of the things I'm talking about
  12. This is my auction for my CIB Vectrex Light Pen with Art Master. I'm new at collecting and I'm really loving it! My favorite system to collect for is atari, NES, Master system and so on... so I thought I'd put my CIB Light pen with art master up for sale to help with my other collections. Vectrex CIB Light Pen with Artmaster eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110733530319 I'm kinda late posting it here since there are only 2 days left, but I thought I might as well try. Thanks!
