Good luck with the Air Raid sale. I had a lot of idiots messing with my Air Raid auction last year (at one point some 0 feedback scammers bid it over 10K) and making all kinds of "cash offers" to end the auction. It made for a very stressfull sale. I learned that there are a lot of people with an opinion of what the cart is worth but not many who are willing and able to produce the cash.

Thank you for all the kind feedback. I just hope that last night's mess did not scare any serious bidders away. One hour to go!

Filters have been put in place to avoid this from happening again.

Last night was a mess. I saw the huge jump in price and got excited. Then I saw the bidders and got concerned. In addition to the "mistake" bid, I did not get a response from the the zero feedback bidder who had just opened their account. In order to keep the auction fair for the actual bidders, I canceled all of last night’s bidding frenzy. I will be monitoring the auction very closely for the last few hours. I just hope this debacle did not scare off the people who are actually willing to purchase the item.

It has been reset back to where it was ($2400). Hopefully the drama is over. I'm going to bed.

I have sent an email to both of the top bidders and asked them to contact me. I also had some weird re-route and contact message the last time I tried to log in, so now I have to change my password info. What a pain in the ....

Some lady e-mailed me in a panic that her kid just made a 17,000 bid on eBay. I have been told to cancel the top bid as it seems to be from the same location as the lady who emailed me (I cannot get a response from her). I am waiting to hear back from the 0 feedback bidder to confirm their intentions. There goes my good night of sleep.
