  1. If you care about translations, please see http://cfc2english.blogspot.com/and http://forum.freeplaytech.com/forum-7.html for more info.
  2. Hey guys. We are doing a little pre-presale research for our WonderSwan flash cart, and it was recommended by a reader that I post over here. http://www.flashmasta.com/2016/04/26/ws-flash-masta-pre-presale/ I am trying to get an idea of how many people are actually interested in being an early-adopter.
  3. I think I have one, but I don't recall if I have the box and stuff for it. It's probably just a loose cart. I hadn't thought of selling it, but if the price is right, I might be persuaded.
  4. I came here from Famicommander's thread on Neo-Geo.com (http://www.neo-geo.c...-Color-frontlit). I have to say that the whole situation sickens me a bit. I don't claim to know the people involved or understand the whole thing, but the way that Wiggy responded to Famicommander's email about the problems seemed very unprofessional. That really set a bad initial tone and put both sides in a confrontational/defensive posture. Personally, I'd somwehat like to get into doing these light mods, but I've always been worried about hurting people's prized posessions. Most of the people wanting these mods would be retro gamers/collectors, and they are a discerning lot. Thanks for mentioning my cart, goldenegg. I appreciate that! Hey Metal Jesus. I tweeted a link to your NGPC video the other day, actually. Definitely hit me up if you want a flash cart bundle. Right now, I don't have any full bundles ready, but I can get to building some if there is interest. I just haven't devoted much time to projects like this lately, as I've been in the middle of moving to a new house and stuff. I'm always motivated by interest, though, so chat me up.
  5. Thanks for the info. This will be a major task for me in the upcoming week or two. I have some other decisions and tasks to complete before I make that choice, but it is definitely looming.
  6. I will be porting a Windows/DirectX game to iOS. Would you still recommend cocos2d for that?
  7. Hey guys. Thanks for keeping the interest up. I have some updates, but they are much more about my personal/professional life than they are about the Lynx flash cart project. Friday (yeah, 3 days ago) was the last day at the job I've been at for 15 years (18 years if you count internships during college). It was a good run, but it's time for me to move on to work on new ventures. One of the ventures I want to have more time for is this Lynx cart, and I am also very interested in building a WonderSwan flash cart. However, the main project I will be working on over the next several months is an iPad/iPhone game. Even though I know this is my top priority project, I will still have time for my electronics projects. In fact, I should be able to devote more time/effort on projects like this than I had in the past, becuase I will be viewing them more as a business instead of a hobby (even if no particular project is a substantial source of income). This last Friday was also the day we put our current house up for sale. The market for my type of house should be strong here, so I hope to sell within a month. Once that happens, we will move to another state and work on making our new house livable before moving in. This will take substantial time and resources, but when it's ready, then I will settle into my new life/profession/etc. and start these projects back up. Thanks guys! I'm leaning on support from people like you to make this work out over the next couple of years. If you would like to follow along with my progress in any of this, please check out either http://www.flashmasta.com (for flash cart stuff) or my personal site http://www.edmandy.com
  8. I would recommend that you call or email around and ask some companies about laser cutting this. I'm no expert in this, but I had a simple rectangle laser cut into some of my cases (only 25 of them), and the experience was pretty simple. I don't know about cost, but I'd expect that it'd be cheaper than the CNC.
  9. Hey guys. I know it's been a while since I talked about this project. It's still on my list of things to do, but, honestly, I have not put much time into this project lately. I really would like to fully build this cart and a WonderSwan flash cartridge. Those are on my list of goals, but there is no timetable on them at the moment. I'm hoping that "real life" slows down in a couple months here. Thanks for the interest, guys!
  10. Nice work, low_budget. This is a real feat! Will you be selling this as a DIY kit?
  11. Did you get this figured out? I really don't know what to tell you other than the obvious (something isn't right).
  12. Thanks for the kind words, Mark. It's true that you were an early adopter, and I really do appreciate that. I may take you up on that offer. Let's talk about this via email. Yeah, we've talked about this before. I could make it work almost exactly the same as the NGPC software. In fact, my prototype version uses the NGPC Linkmasta and its software to flash the Lynx cartridge. I have yet to fully determine how the SD might work, though. Done, also updated the listing for accuracy. Thanks! I completely expect that sentiment on the Atariage forum. Thanks for the input.
  13. First, could I ask you to change that link to http://www.flashmasta.com The link you used still redirects, but since I registered a domain just for this, I think it's better to use that. Also, I am working on a Lynx cart. My intention is to add some new interesting features (like MicroSD). The minimal base prototype works, but I have put this project on hiatus. I spent some time creating a concept PCE/TG16 cartridge. Competing with Krikzz seems like potentially wasted effort. My idea was a bit different, but much of the audience would overlap. I have also worked on an adapter system to allow multiple SNES controllers to be plugged into the PCE/TG16. It's like a controller converter mixed with a TurboTap. It's a fun project that was also put on hiatus during the summer months. I know I have dropped hints in the past, but recently, I have been even more interested in working on a WonderSwan flash cart. This may end up being similar to the WonderMagic (which would be similar to my current NGPC bundle). I'm not sure yet. I do know that it's a very intriguing platform, and, since the Lynx already has a usable cart, my time may be better spent on WonderSwan. I think it's very doable for me, but I just have to find the time to put into the project. The Neo Geo Pocket Flash Cart project (again http://www.flashmasta.com) has been going well. It definitely takes time to assemble these, but I'm very happy with how it's going lately. If you have any input on any of this, I'd love to hear it. Thanks guys!
  14. Sorry guys, the project has been on hiatus for a while due to summer travel and other irregular schedule issues. I hope to get back to it soon. My initial tests have all gone well. I just need to do a redesign to add more intended features and fix some issues I had to work around on the initial build. Some of the features might be a bit DIY at first. I think I'll try to implement the hardware features, but they may require some new code to take advantage of. Anyway, I'm out of town at the moment, so I can't really elaborate. I may need some help with that part, though.
  15. I might have a Neo Geo Pocket Color I could part with. I'll check. I also have a non-working Jaguar. The PSP only interests me a little. What TG16 games/accessories do you have to offer?
