@albert: wow, that's impressing. I have just one modified atari junior but I hope it will stand the test of time for some more years as its multiplayer games took the highest attention over the last few years on my own party events:
for over 15 years now we play once a year in a well-chosen group of people. there have been more than 50 offline-multiplayer games from all generations of consoles with many all time classics like bomberman, micromachines, mario kart, final match tennis, windjammers or california games. But none of them thrilled the crowd more than medieval mayhem and fall down.
as long as we play party games, the atari 2600 will be the number one in therm of pure game fun.
@davyK: yeah, I also used the "VCR-version" for some years, but it was always complicated and time consuming to set up and the picture quality is pretty bad compared to the modified version. on the other hand, it doesn't matter so much on the atari 2600.
