  1. I realize I'm new here, but HOLY SHIT is this awesome (understatement I know). Anyhow, if and when this becomes available on an actual 7800 Cart, PUH-LEEZE sign me up for one. I'm so freckin' impressed. Looks great!
  2. Well for a long time (in the late 90s) a lot of people thought this game was Part III or somehow connected to Kujaku Oh but as far as I can tell, there is no direct connection to it, but it's definitely in the same vein of the first two Kujaku Oh games. It's also one of the rarest and most expensive video games of all time. I had a copy once a long, long time ago I got from NCSX and stupidly let it go, not realizing that less than 3,000 were made for it's initial and only print for Import SEGA Saturn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gw-4JG0IHTo
  3. 01) Berzerk [Atari 2600 & 5200] 02) RASTAN SAGA [Arcade] 03) Super Contra [Arcade] 04) Bare Knuckle 2 (Streets of Rage 2) [sEGA Mega Drive / Genesis] 05) Ninja Gaiden (Famicom/NES)
  4. THIS ^ Pretty much what I was thinking too.

  6. Mystic Defender is a totally Bad Ass game that indeed gets overlooked. It is the sequel to Spellcaster and is known as Kujaku Oh 2 in Japan for the Mega Drive which also spawned it's own ridiculously bad ass anime in the mid 1980s. An interesting fact that some might not know is that if you take a Genesis copy of Mystic Defender and use a Honey Bee Convertor cart in the Genesis it switches the game back to it's original Japanese version. This works with Revenge of Shinobi as well turning it back into Super Shinobi, and Mercs will turn into Battlefield of the Wolf: Commando 2 all in Japanese as well. Here's the anime the game is based on... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cpb3TF8eGYI
  7. I've more or less HAD to trim down my stuff when I needed to get rid of other systems (Mostly the PCE SuperGrafx, Super Famicom and Vectrex) and now have what I cannot part with. But if I could only keep one system, and Emulation wasn't an option then I'd have to keep my SEGA Mega Drive / Genesis. For me that was the summit of my gaming years and I actually preferred the system over the Super Famicom/SNES. Honestly though, I'd never get rid of my 7800/2600 Pro System and it's games. It be in "mothballs" somewhere.
  8. Figured I'd share some of my uploaded Facebook videos (they're set to "Public" so everyone should be able to see them) with the community here. Wherever I go I film the arcades, and/or game rooms I come across while out and about with my kids Fyana and Jake... so they'll usually be in the videos. I live in San Antonio, TX so most are from there but there is one from Austin TX too. Dunno if anyone has made a thread similar to this in the past, but I'm sharing my stuff with ya'll none the less. The Videos @ PINBALLZ ARCADE (Austin TX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 @ Diversions Game Room (San Antonio, TX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 @ Olympic Games (Palladium IMAX Theater, San Antonio, TX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 @ Dave & Busters (San Antonio, TX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 Playing GUNBLADE N.Y. with Jake & Fyana @ Diversions Game Room (San Antonio, TX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 Playing Revolution X with Jake and Fyana on "Carnival King" @ Diversions Game Room (SATX) https://www.facebook...&type=3 ...aaaaaaaaand that's it for now. I apologize if there has been a *Video Thread* in the past, but I didn't see one in this section and figured I'd at the very least share this with others who might want to check out what's out there who don't live in Austin or San Antone. I am totally stoked to have a 4 year old son and 7 year old daughter who love the 1980s and all things Classic Gaming. I have other videos but they are not in the arcade and are at my place Sunsa where I live gaming with the kiddos across various platforms.
  9. Back in the day growing up I'd have to say TAITO followed by Atari, then Capcom in third place, but overall, TAITO always made the games I spent money on time and again.
  10. Yeah it was one of my all time fave systems but it had to go along with my SFC/SNES collection sadly. But a divorce will do that to you. Had to keep what I knew I couldn't part with. Yeah the kiddos are "Spirit Children of the 80s" it seems. In fact my son just recently got into the Atari 7800/2600, though he has been playing Famicom/NES and Mega Drive for awhile now too. He's better at the Atari though as he is only 4 years old. My daughter is 7 and has been beating Bare Knuckles 2 (Streets of Rage 2) on Hard for about a year now already and cannot wait to see what other oldies but goodies I bring out. Here's a video of my son playing River Raid first time this past Sunday (It's a facebook video, but on "Public" so it should be viewable) > https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=2802235350639&set=vb.1701257554&type=3&theater
  11. Some of the pictures are old from when I was still married living at "The Condo" (dating back to 2009 through about early 2011) and a few are more recent from my time at Sunsa (current designation for where I live). My kids are HUGE into the Classic Gaming (I don't like the term "Retro Gaming") and wish they could have been in the 1980s when I was a kid growing up, and are always gaming with me, at home and on the go at various arcades. Here are the pics... I have other photos of my actual gaming lineup, but I'd have to look for them. As of 2013 I no longer have my PCE Super Grafx nor the Super SNES/SFC collection as I had to sell that off, but would not part with the Atari 7800/2600, Famicom/NES, Mega Drive/Genesis or Playstation 2. I posted the older photos of when I did have those systems along with my long gone Home Arcade, because it is a representation of what I did own. *Also those with keen eyes will see that I'm a proud owner of Super Mario: Rescue In Bowser's Castle (2600) and Pac Pollux, that I procured sometime back from a member here who made those particular games that I enjoy to this very day. [As stated in Introduction Area: I'm an old member from here, but I honestly don't remember what screenname I used back in the day, nor what the password would have been, so I had to start a new account] Anyhoo... that's a few pics of my meager collection.
