  1. This may be a long shot, but is it possible to get a replacement label for my Bob Decrescenzo Collection multi cart? One of my kids set a peanut butter sandwich on a paper towel on top of it and the oils soaked into the label. (The consequences of having my system set up in my son's room!) Due to the rarity of this game and the fact that it's my favorite, I'd really like it back to original condition. Thanks everyone. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  2. I placed a want ad in the marketplace not long ago and found a working console at a fair price. I've given up on eBay as well. "Untested" might as well just mean "known broken unit". Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  3. My 7800 died on me and I'm looking for a budget friendly replacement in the $30-$40 range. I need just the console, possibly even just a working motherboard if someone has one. Thanks Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
  4. I have for sale or trade this Best composite video and OS modded 7800 set. This has Asteroids built into the OS so if you power the system on with no game inserted, Asteroids will play. I bought this system with the 7800 euro pad, which I am keeping so this set includes an older Pro Line joy stick, which works but definitely feels a little sloppy and could use a rebuild. There are four game carts: Food Fight, Xevious, Pole Position II, and Asteroids. Labels are in fair condition. The system is in excellent shape and was just purchased in April. It has barely been used. I have another modded 7800 which I have been using and this has been sitting on a shelf unused. I figure it would be better to either trade this for a system or games I don't have, or sell it. I will let this go for $140 shipped (USA only at this rate), in the box Best sent it to me in, or I am open to trades. I am mostly looking for NES games right now as I just picked one up and would like to get back all the games I foolishly sold on EBay about four years ago, but would consider other offers as well. Thanks for looking.
  5. My 3 year old son really likes Frogger, mostly for the music. My 9 year old plays a wider variety, like Surround, Bowling, River Raid, Warlords, and he really likes Food Fight for 7800, and anything that uses a light gun.
  6. My cat approves of Crazy Brix. It seems like whenever I play, she jumps on top of the TV and chases the balls.
  7. How about a savage initiation beating with ProLine controllers and socks full of duplicate Pole Position II cartridges?
  8. I really like the Suncom TAC-2 and Slik Stik. The TAC-2 is nice for games that require a lot of rapid firing, because when my thumb cramps up on the one fire button, I can reach over to the other one and stretch out while still firing. The Slik Stick has a really short throw and is able to change direction quickly, so I like that on Pac Man style games.
  9. Yeah, Alien Brigade is a really fun light gun game. I just got it and have been having a lot of fun. The animations really show what the 7800 can do. Crossbow is a pretty decent game too. I guess that depends mostly on if you have a CRT TV to play them on, though. It's just not the same with joy stick control..
  10. Nice! I will definitely be ordering one once available.
  11. Congrats on the purchase! I bought a Wii U for my oldest son's birthday shortly after it came out, and we have really enjoyed it so far. I am definitely glad it seems to be turning it's fortunes around and is actually getting some positive press for once. I do think it is going to have a 3DS type of comeback, especially with the new games they announced recently. It sounds like you have some good games to get started. You can also enter your code after registering Mario Kart 8 and get another game for free, but since you already bought Mario World 3D and Wind Waker I think all that is left to choose from is Pikmin 3 or Nintendo Land. If you register the games you bought too you will get credits to use towards other downloads. There are plenty of good games to choose from. I spent some time a few weeks ago and went through all the old game cases in my son's room to get the codes, registered them all and was able to get enough credits to download some pretty good games for free. This should go a long way to help your wife recover The only complaint I have about the Wii U is that it doesn't support two game pads yet. This isn't a big problem for most people, but my kids are six years apart, so they tend to fight like feral animals over the use of the game pad. I would gladly pay extra for another game pad to put an end to this, but last I heard Nintendo had no plans to make this a reality.
  12. I barely make the cut, but I last counted 112 carts if I include 7800 games. I have a loose copy of Alien Brigade on the way too. My collection is pretty small compared to many others on this site, but I have a lot of fun playing what I do have.
