  1. Awesome! I appreciate the input. There were definitely some things odd about the controller that I noticed when opening it up. First off, one of the screw covers looked like a replacement and it appeared to have been re-glued on there. Also, the screw posts were glued together as well which meant I had to pry open the controller after removing the screws. When I was trying to remove the screws, they were in there really tight and I ended up stripping one of the screws and breaking part of the post while trying to get it out. Since the post was already partially broken at that point, I went ahead and broke it all the way around. I had to do that since the screw was stripped and it seemed to be glued in there. After finally taking apart the shell, the top board was also glued to it's post! Whoever took it apart before thought it was good idea to glue everything pack together for some reason. Anyways, I emailed Bradley and Bruce asking if they had replacement pads and Bradley responded saying he couldn't find any for the Pro Controller but they will try to look for them. He also mentioned that I was the first to ever ask about replacement pads for the Pro Controller. Edit: Also, I 'll open one of my SNES controllers and see if the shoulder button pads will work.
  2. Here is a pic of what the rubber pad looks like. The pad on the left is the one that was under the mushy/non-responsive B button while the one on the right is the correct pad. The pad on the left being shorter and wider is what seemed to have made the B button work improperly. Has anyone on here come across this?
  3. I did think about opening up one of my regular controllers to compare but I read on another post on here that the rubber pads are different between the two controllers. I may still compare them, though. I'll try contacting the people you mentioned as well. I actually bought one of Nicolas Persijns rotary controllers a while back. Great controller! I'll try and post pics of the rubber pad soon.
  4. I recently ended up with a Pro Controller that had a bad B button. When pressed, it had no spring to it and it did not work. After opening it up I noticed that the rubber pad that went under the B button was shorter and slightly wider than the others. It's obvious that when the controller was made, the wrong pad was put under the B button. Is there a way I could get a replacement pad? Or is there another controller out there that uses similar pads that I can pull one out of?
