You'd think that there would be more indie games that use one-button/one-stick, considering of the wealth of European indie developers, the continent's history with 8 bit computers that used mainly Atari joysticks, and the general worldwide retro gaming culture.
However, for some reason there aren't that many games in general that go back to this format.
Most indie devs in general seem to take more inspiration from the NES, which obviously had most of its games take advantage of its two-button controller.
