  1. Just to clarify. I'd putt something like a 4.7k resister between pins 12 and 16? +----+--+----+ RAS* |1 o 40| XTAL2 CAS* |2 39| XTAL1 AD7 |3 T 38| CPUCLK R-Y on TMS9928A/TMS9929A AD6 |4 M 37| GROMCLK AD5 |5 S 36| COMVID Y on TMS9928A/TMS9929A AD4 |6 35| EXTVDP B-Y on TMS9928A/TMS9929A AD3 |7 9 34| RESET*/SYNC AD2 |8 9 33| Vcc AD1 |9 1 32| RD0 AD0 |10 8 31| RD1 R/W* |11 A 30| RD2 Vss |12 29| RD3 MODE |13 28| RD4 CSW* |14 27| RD5 CSR* |15 26| RD6 INT* |16 25| RD7 CD7 |17 24| CD0 CD6 |18 23| CD1 CD5 |19 22| CD2 CD4 |20 21| CD3 +------------+
  2. Interesting may give that a try.
  3. Thanks for doing this I was finally able to test this on my ColecoVision and Adam. It does bring up and interesting thing for me on the ColecoVision. I am using a F18a (Clone using a Tang Nano) In both. Different topic altogether I know. I've always thought that the Tang was making or something in the Coleco system run faster which leads to crashes in games like Donky Kong. When playing the music it seems to be twice as fast in the Coleco then the Adam. So strange but with this test I can clearly hear it.
  4. Thanks that would be great!
  5. Thanks the parts arrived and I learned after building the boards that if it doesn't find the Ram the tests stops on the ColecoVision so it never gets to try out the sounds.
  6. Hi, I know this is an older thread. I'm building several sound cards for the Adam and want to use this program to test the boards in my ColecoVision before testing them in my single Adam. I've used the test in the Adam and ColecoVision and Adam with an AtariMax Cart and I curious in a stock ColecoVision with the sound card added will this test run or will it stop stop and not go further once it sees that the system is a ColecoVision. I'm hoping it just skips the memory and continuers to test the sound. Thanks.
  7. You were onto something with Pinging the ADAM from the PI. It would not connect from the router WIFI 2.4 to 2.4 but I could PING the Adam from the PC that was connected via the same router but the PC is WIFI 5g. Turns out anything on the network 2.4 to 2.4 could not ping each other but all could be with the anything that was 5g. Very strange. So I had a 5g USB dongle and plugged it into the PI and changed the WIFI settings to the 5g and I could then access the TNFS server from the Adam and load programs. From what I've read it my be an isolation setting on the router that would need to be changed in it. I have T-Mobile home internet is there are no settings to turn it off or on. At least not that I can find. No port forwarding as well. Need to research more. But for now it is kind of working.
  8. Thanks, it is very strange that I can't access it from the Adam but from the PC or Putty is just fine.
  9. This is what I get back pi@tnfs:~ $ ps -auwwx | grep tnfsd tnfs 322 0.0 0.0 1764 356 ? Ss 21:46 0:00 /usr/local/sbin/tnfsd /tnfs pi 710 0.0 0.0 7352 488 pts/0 S+ 22:00 0:00 grep --color=auto tnfsd pi@tnfs:~ $
  10. It should be auto-starting when the PI boots up. Is there a way to tell? I'm using the stock image with the only changes being the WIFI settings
  11. I wish I could say that solved the problem but I had already tried the IP number. Is there a format you need to use I just put it in like 192.***.***.*** with nothing leading it or following it.
  12. Hi, I could used some help. I've download the image for the Pi and have tested it with a Pi 0 (with a WIFI dongle) and a Pi3 B+. Once up and running I can see it on the network and access it with my Win10 pc and copy files to and from it. I can also log into it with Putty and have updated the software with the TNFSUPD command. When I try to access the drive via my FujiNet Adam Computer it is not seen. The instructions state that you should use tnfs.local in the fujinet. When I do this all I get is a fast flashing light on the Fujinet. What am I doing wrong? Is there a different hostname I need?
  13. Hi @retrocanada76 just curious I've recently installed one of my original V1 boards into my Coleco Adam. Seems to be working great in it. The monitor in the pictures is a Dell 19in HDMI with a 4:3 display and does not appear to have an adjustment for a wide or narrow display. I was wondering if there is a way in the Tang 9k software to remove the approx. 1in border around the display to make the visible text fill the screen. Most CRTs come close to filling it. Thanks.
  14. It would not be the best solution for me as I want to use the VGA but I did give it a test and still had the same crashes.
