  1. Has anyone tested the Wonder Boy 3 - The Dragon's Trap (UE) [!] FM HACK.sms I was reading on SMSpower that this hack tricks the real console into enabling FM into working. I have FM enabled, and I tried BIOS regions, and I just can't get it to work. I'm wondering if this is a bug atm, or if there is a step I am missing. I have tested in FUSION and it works fine with USA BIOS, and USA region selected. (not saying that means anything)
  2. With the NES30 there are D-pad issues.. the issue that I am describing is that the receiver will often go through bounds of delayed input strokes, often resulting on the screen about a second later.. I just synced my PS4 controller and played a bit without issue, then synced my SNES30 and tested without issue. I will have to do further testing as the issue seems intermittent. I downgraded the receiver FW to the latest on 8bitendo's site for testing, and found that when you do this you get RAPID FIRE. However the button mappings of the NT mini are wrong when you do this.. reverted back to NT mini FW and it goes back to normal, but you lose rapid fire. I want to say that I had 1.22 installed on the receiver when it arrived, and now they have 1.23 available. I hope this fixes the issue. https://support.analogue.co/hc/en-us/articles/115001657087-Using-the-Retro-Receiver-for-NES-with-the-Nt-mini
  3. I'm not asking for support from kevtris on this, I'm asking other users if they are having issues too. If there is a problem, and since the controller was shipped with the unit I see value in finding out if the users here are having issues as well. I have taken the support question to the Anolog-NT mini team first, as it was sold by them. I quoted the email I sent, and have not found another sites to voice this type of issue. hope this is ok..
  4. I have been having issues with connectivity on the NES30 and other 8bitdo controllers.. Anyone else? I wrote Anolog-NT and wait for their reply. "Firstly I want to say that the NES30 looks good in pictures but it is the worst of the 3 controllers I have own from 8bitdo. the D-pad is not precise, and that combined with poor connection issues has me worried that it makes the Analog-NT mini look bad. I have been troubleshooting a connectivity issue with these controllers, and I have been experiencing intermittent input lag (delayed input). I have tested multiple FW's, and reverted back to the ones offered on your site. At this point I am unsure if its the controllers, or the receiver, but I know that its happening on all 8bitdo controllers. They are all fully charged, and I am about 6 feet away from system. I have tested this in 3 different rooms too. I noticed that its often worse when I hold the controller next to my body. This has me believe that this somehow mutes the signal. Can you please tell me if I have a defective receiver, and if there have been any other reports like mine? I would life to get this fixed soon.. Thanks"
  5. @everyone How do you add pallets? I see custom pallet option, but I'm unclear on how it works. I just read this article and I want to experiment now, https://nerdlypleasures.blogspot.ca/2016/10/video-potpourri-ii.html
  6. Would it be possible to use the Mic jack on the NT-mini for the SEGA 3D glasses?
  7. Been Using my SPC30 8bitdo controller instead, and the up works way better than the NES30. Thanks for the recommendation! The issue I'm having is more of a loss of BT connectivity.. I'm wondering if others are having these issues too. Since it happens on both the SPC30 and the NES30 I'm thinking that the issue is with the BT receiver connected to the NT-mini. Im going to see if its a voltage issue from the NT-mini by powering the thing with the USB cable, but I was wondering if any of you have updated the device, and saw improvements ?
  8. SWEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!! only the 2600, such a tease.. I hope you removed the 7800 reference.. that was mean!!
  9. @everyone I have been experiencing issues with the 8bitdo controller that came with my Analog. The controller will sometime not register inputs, and other times will go a direction for longer than the amount of time the direction was pressed. This issue can mostly be detected when navigating a menu, but I have had times where the in game controls led to non-responsive movements too. I have fully charged the game pad and re-synced it to the wireless dongle. Anyone else having this issue? I would like to contact Analog or 8bitdo but I want to make sure its not the actual system. Thanks!
  10. @kevtris Does the Analog NT see that the controller has more than the two buttons ( Y & A )? I was hoping that I could map the buttons in menu, per game, and globally. Feature requests: 1. Ability to create favorites 2, Core detection by file type ( cores will switch by ROM detection ) 2. Cropping, Screen adjustments per game settings. This would help me sort through games like SMB3 that have effects that are normally hidden by over-scan, while maintaining games that don't have issues. 3. Button mapping. Being able to choose what buttons are used on the controller 4. Auto fire mapping 5. Ability to cross out (mark) a title in your ROM's lists. This can be for bug reporting, or just listing a game that doesn't work 6. Controller port swapping feature for 2P games that are not co-op 7. Sega Master System Sprite limit increase (Meaka does this) 8. OC feature for the NES, and SMS Please share your thoughts on these requests, as I would think are pipe dreams and are limited by the fact this is not a computer. I was hoping that you would share a road map, and start using GitHub, or some other avenue to bug track and accept feature requests. Once again, I will say my family doesn't get why I would pay $800.00 CAD for a Nintendo, but each core you release, they seem to get it! They might not understand my connection with COLECO (first console I owned as a kid) but they defiantly were impressed with a few of the titles, and said they looked as good as some of the B grade NES games that were released. Smurfs brought back so many memories, and the GFX's are still as good as I remember them.
  11. BAD MEMORY. The Super Nintendo supported this.. my bad.. http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=8&threadid=165266
  12. @kevtris I see 7800 and 2600 but no cores? was this a tease? COLECO had me smiling!! its wonderful!!! Thank you!! On another note I seem to be having issues in the menu when various games that are loaded. The controller keeps going up when I only press up once. One thing I noticed with this FPGA is that when you only have one controller connected in SMB3 and you start a new game it expects a second controller. On the real HW if the system only had one controller selected you would pass the controller over to the second player. Can this be fixed ? I have yet seen an emulator that gets this right, I kinda figured FPGA would. anyway, I have more items to bring to your attention, but I will start a list, and do a little research before I post any of them. Thanks again for telling me to wait for this! It was worth it!
