  1. are there any basketball games for gamecube that have classic nba teams and players with real stats, names and characteristics? if so how far back do they go and how good is the gameplay?
  2. i think you got it a little closer than the AA list. but Double Dragon has got to be at least a 6 maybe 7, i dont think there are as many of those out there as people might think. also commando should be close to a 6 as well. and what about sentinel, you left it off the list?
  3. what about the pocket progammer from transtronics? ive been looking at that one, is it easy to use? also im going to be burning 7800 .bins as well, would this one be able to do this as well? and would the others you guys have mentioned burn these as well?
  4. any 7800 hacking tools exist? i cant seem to find anything out there for hacking a 7800 game. if you know of any would you be so kind as to point me to them?
  5. what types of eprom burner/progammers are best for burning 2600 eproms? also is there any software needed to convert a .bin file to be burnt to an eprom, or is it just burnt like it is as a .bin?
  6. is there any way to hook up a lynx to a tv? any adapters of any sort to accomplish this or...... maybe someone out there has converted one to be used as a home console?
  7. ok just post your icq number and when i see you on we can play. the only other option is to post a time when you would be on, but the chances for someone reading it and able to be on at that specific time would be slim, and even then it would only be good once. so this is why i am suggesting gamers post there icq#'s. so lets keep this thread going and with any luck we can build an icq classic console netplaying community!
  8. the eaisiest way to netplay with genesis is simply download the gens emulator and whatever roms you want to play and your ready to play! just take a few minutes to familiarize your self with gens and get your controlls to your liking and then just simply scoll down to "netplay" under "file" in gens and kaillera will bring up a host of servers for you, and your ready to go. and dont forget to post your icq number here to make it easier for other gamers to find you.
  9. also anyone wanting to netplay can post a reply with your icq number here and any games you might want to play as a good way for others to find netplayers
  10. anyone who wants to netplay with gens or jnes just post your icq #'s here! i realize there are rarely any gens or jnes users on kaillera server, so this seems like a good way of finding other players. does anyone knows of any websites for kaillera netplayers of genesis or nes or even atari xe or any 8bit or 16bit console? if there are any out there dedicated to this sort of thing i simply haven't run across it yet. and as i said you will RARELY ever see anyone on kaillera with a classic console awaiting gamers, so it seems that a site dedicated to classic console netplayers would certainly be helpful! i have considered starting up a site like this myself complete with tournaments and reigning champs and so on....so any feedback or ideas would be great. but untill then anybody wishing to play just post your icq # here and with any luck we can build an icq classic console netplay community! so that anytime you want to play you can just simply start up your icq and chose someone to play! also listing which games you like to play in your icq description would be very helpful as well. my icq number is: 245678839 i am looking for challengers in lakers vs celtics or joe montana football or any other classic console game you might want to play. joshua.
  11. i've got an idea, what about a video clip of a girl projecting out of a vcs console ala "weird science"? wouldn't that be perfectly befitting? you could even have the weird science song playing along with it. i think it would be sufficiantly dramatic but not overly dramatic and fit in well with the theme and idea of the whole project. and it fits in nicely with atari's own unique quirky brand of gaming.
