Hey everyone! I was wondering what you folks rig together when playing the dual stick games. I cant seem to hunt down a controller holder at least that comes by itself. Really don't want to double dip on games. Could really use some ideas of what works.

Yeah I got lucky! I think they thought it was broken cause the switch box was FUBAR haha. Luckily I had a spare ^.^ Also the poor plastic shell had one corner broke off.

Picked up my Vader from a garage sale in '05 for 5 bucks! It came with 20 games all the hook ups and 3 joysticks! Speaking of which my son just got into Atari. So yesterday on his 10th B-day we got him a 2600 jr. off Ebay. He's stoked!! Nothing like sharing retro goodness with the next generation

Haha I don't blame ya sramirez2008! I want one and I cant even use it with my 4-port. The previous owners never got it modified so no CX-55 compatibility for me. Still want it for show though. No luck finding one in the wild here though. Wyoming has slim pickings.

Hey gang! Been a while since I've been on here talking about my 5200. To be honest I picked up a Sega Master System and it stole the spotlight from my 5200. That got me to thinking. What has recently taken your eyes away from your 5200?

Any good places to look for one? Epay errr I mean Ebay has only one and its packed in with Robotron 2084. Hopefully its still there when i have $70 to blow otherwise I'm S.O.L. I mean wouldn't hurt to pick up a game I don't own and a much needed controller holder

Been rocking ALOT of Joust! As if my profile pic couldn't already give away my love for Joust. Also recently got River Raid and Space Dungeon!!!! River Raid is alot of fun with the 5200 controller since it makes controlling the plane a tad harder than the 2600 version. Space Dungeon rules but I really need a holder haha chasing my controllers all over my lap sucks >.<

Seems like 4 port is pretty popular! Funny seeing as every video I've watched has bashed it and said get a 2 port. I intend to take advantage of the 2 extra ports and nab up Castle Crisis!

Awesomesauce! Thanks! Its the only powered switch box I've dealt with so that had me feeling a bit leery about putting other inputs on. Awesome to know it'll be okay. I love my Genesis and 5200 so its good to hear I don't have to worry about them trying to take each other out!

Hey gang I have a quick question! Has anyone hooked another consoles rf cable to the switch box of the 5200? I have a Sega Genesis I use alot and it shares my CRT TV in my room. Ive been completely unhooking the 5200 or Genesis for the other. I see there is a coax in on the switch box for the 5200 the one you would run the cable for television to. Would it be unwise to hook up my Genesis to the port? I'm using RCA cables with a coax adapter for the Genesis in lieu of its own switch box.

I got a Sunnyvale 4 porter. I specifically sought out a four port cause I like the idea of the switchbox/power supply XD

Just ordered a 2nd gold controller! This is gonna be bomb my son and I will have to enjoy some 5200 action together!

I'm glad to hear the majority of the library is awesome!! Luckily Missile Command and Centipede came with my 5200 so I only need to secure a Trak-Ball controller! I really look forward to some of the twin stick shooter games like Space Dungeon or Robotron 2084! Oh also need Tempest like really really bad haha!

Hey everyone! Been a bit absorbed in my 5200 lately. Figured I'd share with you guys my latest haul from eBay of 5200 goodies! First off I got my hands on the Rev 9 circuit board with the gold contacts for my controller. It works sooooooooooo good! As for the other goodies I rounded up Joust, Q*Bert, Mario Bros., Dig Dug, and The Dreadnaught Factor! Man those games are the bomb!!! Well except Q*Bert haha that handles poor. Its nice to see the light of day though now that the 5200 has let me go. Its such an awesome console especially when the controller is fully functional! Also quick question for you all! What other hidden gems are tucked away on this beast? I intend to nab up a 2nd refurbished controller and Space Dungeon and Robotron 2084 but I wonder what other games might have slipped by my notice.

I've been thinking of buying 2 copies and donate one to Mark at Classic Game Room. It'll be nice to see a review with out him harping on the controller since it works with the track ball.
