Follow up...I do believe you are right. The buyer who I was speaking with opened one of them and it seems like they are Reproductions. The titles I have are Pengo Obelix PAL Donald Duck Speed Boat PAL Mario Bros PAL Dumbo & Flying Circus PAL Moon Patrol PAL Asterix PAL Nightmare Manor Quadrun Holey Moley Sinister Pole Position Frog Pond Monstercise A-Team Bugs Bunny Dukes of Hazzard Berzerk Xevious There is also a Signal Tracing Cart and an Atari Diagnostic Cart with them. Same homemade abels and boxes. I looked at a couple and they don't have a screw, just a screw hole.

This is part of a collection of a man who collected his whole life and who has since passed. His family is selling them because they don't want to pay the expensive climate controlled, extra security fees that the storage unit costs them. The daughter isn't interested in gaming so she asked me to sell them. I've been at it about a year and have come across some awesome stuff. They are indeed homemade labels from a typewriter and they have been stored in homemade blue boxes. He was meticulous about labeling everything so I'm sure he did it. I think I have a seller lined up for these protos, sold as a lot. Thanks so much for your help.

Hey Everyone, Long time reader, first time poster. I probably know some of you from my eBay store. It's been a pleasure to meet this awesome community of collectors. I am a year into selling off a collection and I have just come across a stack of 2600 prototypes. I am just starting to delve into the world of protos and wow it's a bit complicated. And it doesn't help that I am not great at opening them. I have noticed that some weigh more than others. Is there a way to glean insight without me breaking them all I have been selling on eBay and I would really like to be able to give a better description to my buyers. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
