Man, the paddles went fast. I could have used a second set of Best Paddles. I guess it will have to be part of my next order to get to a threshold.

Well, now comes the hardest part. Waiting for the hardware to arrive. I have encoded a Dragon's Lair play-through and a Star Wars Ep4 that was ripped from an old Cinemax recording. It was easier than I thought it would be with rbairos' video tutorials. Although I wish I had watched them all the way through first before starting. My Star Wars recording had the typical Cinemax Feature presentation promo at the beginning and I wanted to trim that part out and get right to the 20th Century Fox fanfare and didn't realize that I could have done it with TouchDesigner. So I did it the simplest way I could find with a quick google which was to use the Windows Photo App crazy enough, but I had to totally re-encode it after the trim. It would have been easier to do it in TD. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks again Rob for this amazing little project. I will probably buy a second cart after some time has passed and other people have got their shot at acquiring one. ----Edit I had one more spare SD card. I am gonna do TRON also.

I got a notification about an hour earlier than I expected. ORDERED. Now I guess I need to pick something to watch and figure out how to get it encoded.

Interesting. I have always thought mine was a GITD. It definitely has some GITD capabilities/properties.

Man, I missed the announcement in the thread but was out running errands when I got the waitlist email. By the time I could pull over and park and try and order they were GONE. I am having flashbacks of when the pre-release Concerto was released. 😉

There must have been more that 2 GITD Baby Pac-Man Carts because I have one. I wanted the Baby Blue but was too late and the glow was my #2 choice.

Ya, I know the guy who was selling it. He had some plumbing issues and sold his Bob D multicart and his Vol 2 to help fund the repairs.

My Vol 2 label is good. I just need a Volume 1 that is attached to a Volume 1 cart. 🤣

Nope. The 5200 Controller is the primary controller for console and it’s used for every game. The Star Raiders Video Touch Pad is used for ONE game. Out of hundreds of games. That makes the CX21 a 4tier controller because the CX40s are used for the vast majority of games on the system and next the paddles and then the standard Keyboard Controllers because there are at least multiple games that use them. The CX21 and Driving Controllers are used for one game. Best Electronics would ever sell enough of them to pay for the R&D to produce them. It’s a losing proposition. I suppose you would also want a Gold Lifetime Encoder Wheel Driving Controller while we are making lifetime replacements. Just buy another one and hope for the best. 🤷🏻

I am assuming that you know about the Harmony and Harmony Encore. You just want a version of those with RGB out like the 7800 GD. Because the Harmony Products are solid other than not offering the RGB out component.
