  1. Finally finished adding SOPHIA to my already modded 5200. My current 4 port model now has composite, s-video and RGB. There are required pulled pins for the composite/s-video board, but they do not affect the SOPHIA mod. I thought I would post some pics of the different video quality (and colors) from the various video feeds. I am pushing them through a Sony PVM. Pay particular attention to the bricks and the cave outlines as those are static images (more broken-up artifacts with composite than s-video). My PVM tends to translate composite fairly well, so there isn't as much of a difference between S-video and composite as one might think, but it does get extremely noticeable on consumer TVs. Modded 5200 with SOPHIA board rev. B (1.3 firmware) alongside an s-video/composite board previously installed.
  3. Yeah she usually adds more availability weekly on average. Given the current demand I'm sure she will replenish stock once the first set is made and shipped. If all else fails you can send her an e-mail for a special order.
  4. DB9 to SCART cables are available now from Retro Console Accessories These are simulated stereo like the other mono cables she provides. http://www.ebay.com/itm/162417265303
  5. Hi Simius - I've already PMed you this question, but I figured I would ask here as well in case anyone may have the same question or may know the answer: 1. Will this work on a 7800 as well? 2. Will this work with already installed A/V mod on the 5200 system (and 7800 if applicable?) Here is the A/V mod for composite and S-video mods I've completed before: 5200 A/V Mod: http://electronicsen...structions.html 7800 A/V Mod: http://electronicsen...structions.html Thanks!
