After many years I have been able to buy an Atari , the SIO2SD and a hard drive. Unfortunately my games are still in South America. I have been looking for the games but the ones I have found are pricey. I have found that a possible another way is to use .atr games using the Sio2d. If I want to download a lot of games to use on my Atari, could you please suggest what the best way to do this, what would be the best storage unit to do this. I am going to download from the websites and play on my Atari not my computer, any suggestions or help would be great.

I tried the RF output and also the 5pin DIN to SCART/AV cable one and always have the same results, whether there are lines of colors, like static, all over the display or minor changes to the image, no blue screen, no sound. I even tried starting the computer pressing start + option to hear the beeping for the tape recorder and no beep. Or if I start it up pressing OPTION to see get to the self test menu,I was expecting so see some changes to the screen by doing this but no changes whatsover.

My name is Roger and I just recently bought the 130xe and I am having the same issue as people in this previous thread (http://atariage.com/forums/topic/150187-130xe-wont-boot/?hl=%2B130xe+%2Bwont+%2Bboot&do=findComment&comment=1837528). I know this thread is a little old but I did notice some people live in SE Pennsylvania and wanted to know if anyone can take a look at mine or give a name and number of someone who may be able to help me with mine. I believe replacing the mainboard will fix the issue, I am not particularly good at soldering. I also have the 1050 disk drive but cannot test it yet since the computer is not working.
