  1. So here's an interview my wife and I had with Steve Cartwright, programmer of many Activision games. Parts of it are in Brazilian Portuguese, but it has been subtitled entirely for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
  2. On import duties: if the product isn't shipped from a proper store - as in, shipped from just any person who's selling from their own collection or such - there are no duties. The duties only get in the way when and if I order anything from Amazon, for example. Even so, the duties have a big chance of falling under a waiver if they cost less than 50 dollars. I am looking for an Atari with the AV or composite mod.
  3. Anyone selling a 2600 console with or without carts for me to start my collection? I had the pleasure of interviewing David Crane when he came to Brazil on my YT channel, and had him sign a copy of Laser Blast I could find, but I don't have the console as it's crazy expensive here. The person would need to be able to ship to Brazil, though.
  4. I've managed to arrange a few interviews with the designers from old-time Activision to my Youtube channel and have been sharing them here on the forums. So far, David Crane's and Garry Kitchen's are both edited and up, and we'll still see Dan Kitchen's and Steve Cartwright's. I tried to reach Howard Scott Warshaw but his schedule wouldn't allow him to record the videos and have tried to contact Alan Miller and Carla Meninsky, with zero success. Carol Shaw, too, but in her case I at least got in touch with someone who had interviewed her before and said she doesn't want to be a public person, which I respect. There is still one person I'd love to get in touch with and eventually interview - Larry Miller, creator of Spider Fighter and Enduro. I saw there is a topic here on the forums which had a few leads on him, but nothing too promising for me to be able to get in contact. Does anybody else have any other leads? This project I'm doing on the channel I have with my wife is not focused on earning anything financial. It's just a way to pay homage to those people, making maybe their first contact with the Brazilian fans. We don't even have tons of views or subscribers. It's just something we feel it's nice to do.
  5. My channel continues offering interviews with the designers of the golden era. Here's the interview mr. Garry Kitchen kindly accepted to participate in. Enjoy his stories! (parts in Brazilian Portuguese have been subbed for easier understanding) Next on the list is Steve Cartwright.
  6. Not a problem! The interview with Garry Kitchen is the next one, and should be up (and linked in here) on Sunday.
  7. Hey everyone, I'm the host of the YT channel TeacherGus & Mad Rox. We talk about retrogaming and other stuff, and most recently, we've created a new show called Atari Mania - which will feature interviews with David Crane, Dan and Garry Kitchen, Steve Cartwright and a few other surprises. The channel isn`t in English - but you can watch the interview in full English (albeit subtitled in Portuguese) starting at the 0:59 seconds mark. Enjoy - and subscribe if you want to watch the next episodes with interviews. https://youtu.be/DtqZJ12qiYo?t=59s Meeting mr. Crane was amazing. Such a humble and casual man! I got my Laser Blast cartridge and an Atari book signed.
