  1. So i bought a Panasonic Q from Japan which had the stuck drive issue. I spoke with seller and begged of them to carefully pack it because of the nature of the construction and the brittle drive rails, and i am sure you know the rest of this story. So after ordering 3d printed replacement rails and a new drive belt i thought i was out of the woods. Turns out the cable jack on the left hand side that accepts the controls on the front, (not top) panel were not working properly I was getting power and able to switch it from gamecube to dvd on the top panel. The only way I was able to get it to switch back to Gamecube mode was unplugging the green cable that went into it and plugging it back in. (Have attached pics). Unfortunately NOT a lot of documentation on repair or service of this unit. So after whittling it down to this being the issue with control I noticed the white jack was loose from the board (this jack sits on the top unit where the LCD Display is. I reflowed and added some solder around the pins to shore it up so it was tight again well when plugging the green cable back into the jack and plugging the unit back in the wall the unit did not power on at all (of course) when I touched the metal side could have even been near the lower power supply accidentally I got a shock and the fuse is not blown that i can see. Looking for some guidance here now. See attachments and video of previous behavior when it was working sort of. Sorry for the bad filming
