When I was in low school I thought I wanted an Amiga 500. Everything I heard about Amiga sounded great, the 500 wasn't too expensive, and I liked the keyboard console style.
I didn't get one. It seems when you don't have any money, not too expensive is still too expensive.
Not too long ago I decided to look them up again. The hardware - A500, A590, 1084S, etc. - looked great, but even in the old magazines, all the software I could find was graphics editors, games, graphics editors, a word processor, graphics editors, and graphics editors. Ok, it has great grphics. I'm actually quite happy with micro illustrator. What else can I do with an A500? What other software was available?
