  1. First up, thanks to everyone that watched the Virtual On Dual-Stick auction. I think there were 11 of you in the end. Enough encouragement to do the set below: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtua-Fighter-CG-P...1QQcmdZViewItem Each one is a music and graphics disc for the Sega Saturn, featuring one of the characters from Virtua Fighter. Music is available either as a normal track with vocals or a Karaoke track with (Japanese) lyrics and a pointer for timing. Graphics include a range of pre-rendered scenes that are displayed as the music plays. These are Japanese discs; You'll need a Japanese deck, or a non-Japanese deck with some kind of region bypass option -- I use the Action Replay cart. You may also need a TV that supports NTSC. A rare item for the Virtua Fighter collector. If you win multiple items, postage will be combined, please contact me for details. If you wish to see more Japanese Sega Saturn titles listed, please add this item to your watch list. -- If you're interested in Virtua Fighter rather than Japanese Sega Saturn games, post your interest here and when the auctions finish I'll check back. I have a PAL 32X Virtua Fighter in superb condition that I'll list if I think people will be interested.
  2. I'm finally starting to get stuff onto eBay in earnest. First up: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Virtual-On-Cyber-Tr...1QQcmdZViewItem A Japanese Virtual On Twin-Stick bundle. It includes the Japanese version of Virtual On Cyber Troopers for the Sega Saturn. (You'll need a Japanese deck, or a non-Japanese deck with some kind of region bypass option -- I use the Action Replay cart. You may also need a TV that supports NTSC.) The game is in a CD-case, as Japanese games are, with the manual and that little spine cover thing they always have. And the "Twin-Stick" controller. This lets you drive your robot like a tank. It also looks really cool. It's been opened, but is in such fine condition it doesn't deserve the description "used". Only a small amount of wear on the box gives away its age. Instructions are in Japanese, but it's a 3D fighter, it's not hard to work out. (If you're interested in more Japanese Saturn games, please add this listing to your watch list. I have heaps of Japanese Saturn titles, but even more other stuff. If a large number of people watch this listing, I'll list my Japanese Saturn titles sooner rather than later.) Once I'm sure that I've got enough international payment options I'm definatley going to start listing all my Atari stuff.
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...item=8254912499 This is a test listing to get used to the changes since I used to eBay way back when. Currently we only have Australian payment options, I'm up for any alternatives to PayPal for international payments. There's only about a day left. Someone might score a nice four-player soccer game for A$1. Once we can get stuff selling for a decent price, I'm going to be selling almost my entire collection of old video games. That includes; Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Atari 8-bit, Mega Drive, Master System, Saturn, Playstation, NES, SNES, N64, Game Cube, TRS-80, Vic-20, C64, Vectrex, Colecovision, Intellivision, Atari ST, Gameboy, GBA, Gamegear, Atari Lynx and more.
  4. I'm not an organiser, but I'll be a seller: I haven't posted the organiser's contact details because this is a public website and I got the info as a private email. If you're interesting in selling, send me a PM and I'll forward a phone number.
  5. Oo, and a TRS-80. In fact, there's probably plenty I've forgotten, so if you're interested in anything else of roughly the right vintage, please ask.
  6. Hey Perth People, I have officially run out of room for my video game collection. At the end of the year I'm hoping to start eBaying stuff again, but I'm out of space now, so if any local collectors want to have a look at my stuff, please contact me. The following email address will be valid for a short while: Aug05.20.krishaven@spamgourmet.com I'm mostly interested in selling the larger stuff to locals, since postage is too expensive (and I haven't sorted out international payments yet). I have: * Heaps of 2600s, various models * A XEGS or two * A spare Sega Saturn * Two Atari STs * An Amiga 500 * A couple of BBC micro bits (untested) * A spare Colecovision * Heaps of Sega MegaDrives, Master Systems * A few NESes and SNESes * Lots of 9-pin joysticks * A few C64s, assorted tape and disk drives. * A VIC 20 with no power supply (if someone has a spare power supply, I'm happy to buy) * A Sega SC-something (SC-1000? 3000?) * An Apple IIc * An Atari 400 * A Sinclair ZX Spectrum that doesn't display a stable picture * A PC Engine GT (the portable version) * A spare Sega 32X * A 3DO with no controllers. And assorted games for the above. Email me if you're interested to arrange a time to view/test.
  7. Scored a working Vectrex for A$50 (with one extra game -- a racing thing) a couple of weekends back. Apparently someone offered $40 but the seller wouldn't budge. I just reached for the wallet. So once I had tested it and knew it was working I headed off to GoodDealGames and bought that new Vextrex boxing game. I'm not a big fan of boxing games, but it'll be fun to be able to power up a game even the biggest Vectrex fan from back in the day will never have seen.
  8. Did a physical cart of Indy 500 XE ever get produced? I can't remember if I received my prize or not... (*wave* Hey everyone. I didn't so much leave the scene as run out of space and turn into a lurker )
  9. A bit of humour for you. And my first GIMP rather than Photoshop. I need to workout fonts on my Linux box.
  10. Oops, forgot to post link to photos... http://krishaven.spymac.net/trotter.html
  11. Trotter is with me at the moment. It arrived via post on Friday and I've already given it the tour of King's Park with shots overlooking South Perth, the river and the city. I have to re-build my PC recently so I don't have a card reader for my camera installed. I'll post photos as soon as I can.
  12. It's a spectrum, just use Photoshop's gradient tool. http://krishaven.spymac.net/colourbar.png
  13. Cool, I have the cart for this. Have to get it all setup...
  14. Whoo! Thanks to Albert and Gus and everyone that entered. These things are fun, we need more of them! And I won a cart too. This is too cool.
  15. If you fix the fuel rolling bug, you could release the new version in a clear case
