  1. i recently purchased an upright sega outrun. it seems to be in excellent shape, i had been looking for a while, and got a great deal on this one. i have a few questions though, that i am unable to find answers for. : 1. when i unplug the game i am losing all my high scores. there are some high scores saved, but they seem to be from the "factory." it is my impression that the deluxe upright does not have the suicide battery, so i dont think its a battery issue. any ideas? 2. the "shaking steering wheel effect" was disconnected when i got it, i hooked it back up, but it shakes the hell out of the cab. is this normal, or is there an adjustment i can make? i like the effect, but its brutal right now. anyway, thats it for now. if someone is knowledgeable about the game, i have a couple of other questions id like to ask...
  2. well, i took it to a repair shop here in town, who said they didnt think it could be fixed...thankfully, they didnt charge me for this diagnosis. there is another place here in town who will trade me a working board for 65 + my old board.. i guess i just need to chalk this up as a lesson not to buy boards on ebay.
  3. just called the local arcade repair shop. they want 65$ an hour to check out my board, and cant give me any idea as to how long ti might take them. i love pit fighter, but hate the thought of ot taking the guy 6 hours to fix it.
  4. well, ive tried pressing down on all the ICs, and i even cleaned the JAMMA contacts with contact cleaner, but it is still doing the same thing. anyone else have any ideas? this is driving me nuts...
  5. i just purchased a "working" pit fighter jamma board with the sound board. i took the tecmo knight jamma board out of my arcade cabinet and plugged in the pit fighter board. i get no sound at all, and the only thing that comes on the screen is a turquoise and green colored screen with a bunch of "494949499949494" numbers over and over again.. this is my fisrt jamma swap. am i doing something wrong? ive had the machine off when i replace the cards. ive noticed that there are some pins on the other side of the board that arent plugged into anything. ive got the board plugged in to just the main jamma connection on my machine, and i cant see anything else to plug in. can someone plz give me some advice? im dying to play pit fighter, i used to love that game. thanx
