bah. I got a 'new' copy of it for $20 with instructions (no box though). If he sells it for $200, I'll put mine up for $2000 with a free chainsaw.

Demon Attack had the the little wee demons that would squiggle down at you going "cue-cue-cue-cue". I like them more, and also the laser shooting demons. You don't have any fancy shields to protect you, it's just you and the Demons. Plus the box was shiny.

The stupidest would probably be an Atari symbol ashtray I made in ceramics class. We had to make a single piece out of 3 separate containers, so I made three little troughs and assembled them into the logo. I've also got a nifty Yar's Revenge t-shirt that I had made a few years back from a scan of the cartridge. Well I think it's nifty anyway.

Up until about 4 years ago here in Phoenix there was a store that specialized in 'vintage' video game equipment. However, the demand for Atari stuff wasn't quite as high as it is now, so it was a pretty laid back place with very good prices. Unfortunately, sales weren't good enough to justify keeping the place, so they moved the stock into a neighboring Games Plus. His son owned this place, and there were still occasional deals to be found. Fast forward to about 3 months ago. I walk into this Games Plus, and all the Atari stuff is covered by a tarp. They tell me someone came in and made an offer on the entire lot. Gads.
