  1. Hello guys You may also want to check out the two files just above that one. They respectively tell and show you how to read the mouse without it taking up too much time. Sincerely Mathy PS @CharlieChaplin: Please do not link directly to files! I may decide to move the files at some point in the future at which point the links will no longer work.
  2. Hello guys Aluminum does oxidize as soon as it gets in contact with the oxygen in the air. It forms a protective shield that stops further oxidizing, as do all precious metals. Unfortunately, some aluminum alloys do oxidize in such a way, that it does eat away at the metal. Sincerely Mathy
  3. Hello @foft It's nice to read that you are using different components in V4. But what do we get apart from different components and/or layers? What features will V4 have? You've named many, but you didn't tell us how many of those we can have in one pokeyMax V4. Will there be more than one V4, as in V4s with two features (for instance Dual Pokey and Dual SID), V4s with four features (Dual Pokey, Dual SID, Dual Yamaha, ... ), V4s with eight ... , etc. Sincerely Mathy Edit: Software control via U1MB in all V4 versions? SPDIF in all V4 versions?
  4. Hello project7800 Try MyDOS. It's like DOS 2.5 but will support DSDD, harddrives, memory expansions. The latest version is MyDOS 4.55 beta 4. Don't let the "beta" stop you. Sincerely Mathy
  5. Hello @foft Could you explain in laymen's terms what the PokeyMax V4 will bring us? Stereo Pokey plus .... Sincerely Mathy
  6. Hello @Overange Olix showed a picture of the backside of the SM Edition on the ABBUC site. Looks like there's a lot of unused space on the underside/backside. Would it be possible to move the resistors to the underside to make the PCB even narrower? Sincerely Mathy
  7. Hello guys We need somebody who can redesign the PCB that holds the track display and the selector. Way back when, there were upgraded 1050's with track displays where the ON/OFF switch usually sits and a push button switch where the power LED was. Looked like it could have been made like that by Atari. An extra power LED wasn't needed because the track display covered that. What I'd like to see is a track display that is the same height as the hole for the ON/OFF switch and a selector that fits in a hole that is about the size of the hole for the power LED. If possible with a shorter/shortened selector. Maybe even symmetric (ON/OFF switch, power LED, red-yellow-green-LEDs, selector, track display). Sincerely Mathy
  8. Hello guys As the title already says, the English version of the paper supplement to the magazine is available as of now. abbuc.de -> Mitgliederbereich -> Downloadbereich -> ... Sincerely Mathy
  9. Hello Larry, guys I did that mainly because the PCB of the FB wasn't really parallel to the PCB of the BB. The FB was bend because the distance between both physically wasn't big enough. You can read all about it on my BlackBox page. (Yes, I still have to replace the picture) Sincerely Mathy
  10. Hello Ricky Where does the heat come from? Sincerely Mathy
  11. Hello Bertrand IIRC there are versions of TK that have a USB connector instead of a PS2 connector. The USB connector could be used for a USB keyboard, but also for a wireless USB dongle. Which could be hidden inside the computer if wanted. And there's probably a kit for Arduino (for instance) that'll work with the wireless USB dongle that'll fit inside the keyboard case. Sincerely Mathy
  12. Hello Bertrand If the keyboard would be wireless... Sincerely Mathy
  13. Hello Bertrand That looks like it's easier to type on than the original keyboard on the standard size 400. Maybe there's a market for a similar keyboard for the original 400. (As a replacement of the original keyboard or as an additional (USB?) keyboard) Sincerely Mathy
  14. Hello ScreamingAtTheRadio Why don't you ask @Albert ? Sincerely Mathy
  15. Hello guys pancio regularly visits the ABBUC site. Sincerely Mathy
