  1. Possibly, This will be my 1st pinball, so is it salvagable from a newbie standpoint, or more for someone who knows whats going on? is it currently at least playable and just needs alot of reconditioning?
  2. Im looking for a pinball machine, under $500, does anyone know of a place in the Dayton - Cincinnati - Columbus area that could help me? THANKS!
  3. Ive still got this if anyone is interested!
  4. $200 OBO, I have a stand that would be included. It works perfectly, no burnt out bulbs, a bunch of tokens...not sure how many, but there are plenty. I would also consider a trade (slot+cash) for a pinball machine or other coinops. It is in Dayton, OH. I don't want to crate and ship it, more pictures upon request. email: luckygnome@woh.rr.com
  5. thanks, i just wish it wasnt in japanese so i could adjust it where i want it.
  6. I recently bought a japanese slot machine from someone who didnt know much about it. there are a couple switches inside that im not sure what they do and was just wondering if someone here knew the machine: the part with the mystery buttons: The top arrow points to a push button, is this some kind of reset? the other 2 are switches that have 2 positions..kinda like an on/off but not necessarilly on/off (hope that makes sense) the writing around them is all in japanese so im pretty much lost. THANKS!
  7. in the ads on mr pinball, some of the ads say it was just shopped or it needs shopped. What does that involve and roughly what is the cost? thanks
  8. Im fairly capable of simple stuff, maybe even above average. A bit better with hints/tips/advice/walkthrough's. Ive always been the kinda person anxious to take something apart thats broke to see whats wrong with it, so I feel Im slightly above average as far as repairs go, just not great at it; plus in this case I've only SEEN the insides of pinballs; but Im ready to jump into it. I was actually looking at a Gottlieb Snow Queen but when it came down to it, the person selling decided to sell it to ther other person for personal reasons.
  9. Im looking to buy a pinball machine in the dayton-cincinnati-columbus OHIO area. Im not too picky on what it is, just looking for one that looks fun. If anyone knows someone or is selling one; please let me know. THANKS!
  10. Im looking for the same, Its been a while...what happened to mame.dk??
  11. 1. SNES-powers up, but just get a black screen like you would get without a game in it. im using a brand new power supply. is the rf modulator bad, does it just need a good cleaning (whats best for snes?), or is it possibly something more? 2. NES works great...when I can get the tray to stay down. Do I have something too tight or too lose? It works 1st time everytime when it stays down. shoving the player 2 controller in the slot to hold the game down works too, but I dont want to have to do that. THANKS FOR ANY and ALL advice! andy
  12. ok, so after trying again...i had given up for a couple weeks after a few failed attempts....i got it to work. i think im actually using the old 72pin connector, but it works 1st time everytime EXCEPT when i put a game in, and push the spring tray down, it doesnt always stay and doesnt always want to come back up when pushed once it is down. anyone have any ideas? do i have something to tight somewhere? thanks!!
  13. well at one point it would work if after i put a cart in i could hold the game down all the way (where it doesnt come back up just a little bit). im pretty sure i put it back together the same way it came apart....if i posted some pictures of how it is assembled, would that help?
  14. anyone know of a place where I could trade in a nonworking NES for one that works like new for a few bucks? mine worked like most (takes a few trys with all the usual tricks to get it to work) I bought a new 72 pin connector and now i cant get it to work again......
