I would have loved to see the Make Trax proto!

Here's the original page. Part of an "April Fool's" issue. Am I the only one who wanted a track-cube controller? love the item code (huh) predicting the internets hu? by many years re: the bump, uhm, why? must your thread have posts every hour to make you happy? I want the arcade game carring case (I hope it has wheels)

I would start with late 70s/ early 80s rock/ new wave (Rush, Flock of seagulls, Def Leopard, DEVO) then go into game themed music (Buckner and Garcia- Pac man fever, R. In almost 30 years in game repair, I have never seen such stupidity. It’s a wonder Gramps didn’t take little Billy outside and show him how to light cherry bombs and not throw them.....

Yeh, I had a couple of these! Video Connection was selling these as kits after Universal went belly up. what was great about this game was the graphic interface. the score and visual clues were overlayed onto the screen. game had ALOT more gore in it than DL. I liked it- it had the same feel as DL but you were not just in a castle. this system had lots of promise, but never made it past SDQ. I would have given anything to see Space Dracula or Adventure MR.Do!

I think Donkey Kong 3 was plagued by all the issues everyone has posted. I think it’s a great game not withstanding. I believe that this was Nintendo's first attempt into cross inhabit characters into new games. Like the Smash bros and Mario carts of today, DK3 was Nintendo's way to try something different with a signature character (remember, Mario had just had his name change and his "super" adventure wouldn’t start in the states for at least another 2 years!) But imagine if what a name change would have done for this game at the moment of its release. Instead of the Donkey Kong 3 logo we have all come to know you saw this- I think this would have been a different game- not the best, but good!

HOW OLD ARE THESE KIDS? There not old enough to remember getting an Atari in 1981... And the one girl talking about Pitfall is obviously reading her lines from somewhere (notice her squint as she reads her lines!) I think the best fopah is the kid who owns the furniture store and remembers getting his Atari in 1981 and the first game he got for it was Decathlon - It wasn’t released until 1984! I could be wrong, but they should have gotten older actors or they put this group in ziplock bags in 1981 to keep em fresh. I can appreciate the kids today getting into classic games, but don’t say you were there. That’s just my two cents.

I got another one- PONPOKO!

These games were some of my alll time favorites ( I have the arcade games in my collection ) but to see them on the 2600- that would be a blast! Swimmer! Make Trax!
