Programming the Odyssey 2 is hard. (part 2)

Another thing happened where I say "I'm going to sit down at the computer and I will not stop until I complete my goal." Well, the goal here was to make the high score work. So I started doing it. I put in some code. I changed some code. I rearranged the code. Nothing seemed to work. It just has to feel like working. I put in a test feature where pressing up equals 100 points. After another couple of hours, I finally got the thing working. So now the game works OK and the high score works OK to the best of my knowledge. Now it just has to sit in my computer for 29 days until December 25 when I will show it off to the world and ask for suggestions. I find it a very addictive game, and I even get angry when I get a low score like 2. I was playtesting it earlier and the highest I could get was 38. I put in the hundreds digit because I could actually reach 100 before, but I had to move a crucial part of the game, which made it harder. So now I think I'm done with programming anything for the next few days. I'm sort of burned out. I'll be taking a little break from programming like I usually do. I should finish GoSub for the Intellivision, but I don't feel up to that right now.

The Odyssey 2 seems unnecessarily complicated to me. I guess that's what happens when Intel designs a game system.
