Well, I deemed it time to work on Insecticide for the Virtual Boy again. One of the things I was going to do was add a magnifying glass to the fighter select screen. It sounded easy enough, but ended up way harder than I intended and so I spent more than two hours trying to get the stupid thing in. Eventually I did, and here's how it ended up looking:

What do you think? Anyway, the next task is to make the Insecticide title screen logo bigger. I don't remember why, but I made it smaller. Now I want to make it big again. I'll be working on that tomorrow. The magnifying glass thing got me to be sick of programming it today. So here's how it ended up working:

All four CharSegs at the same time. I can't add anything except more text. But I don't want to. At first I didn't think it was possible since I was having so much trouble getting the magnifying glass to display correctly. As it turned out, I needed to go into Photoshop and change the colors around. The scrolling background was displaying only on the handle. So I fixed that. I also worked on it from 12am-2am, trying to get the insects to not throw themselves out of the arena. That was hard as well. I have stuff to do this weekend. I'll do it Saturday. One thing is making the Celery DVD, another thing is loading this onto my FlashBoy and testing it out. But I don't know if I'll be awake to do it. I've sort of turned my life around again to where I sleep from 2am-2pm. Yes, I get twelve hours of sleep. I guess my body needs it. And even then, I'm really tired when I wake up.
