Qbert and Beef Drop WIP

Qbert WIP:Experimented with AtariVox support. While I was able to get the communications working, I haven't had much luck getting voices from it I really like. I think I have figured out the object release patterns in arcade Q*bert, so this will probably be the next major things to work on to make it play more real. I also will probably add PAL detection soon even though noone has complained or commented yet. I need to add support for one more ball (or ugh/wrong way/slick/sam) (from 3 to 4) and allow them to move at different speeds.Beef Drop WIP: semi onhold for a few days until I get at a frustrating point with Q*bert To do:(1) Port new sprite code from Q*Bert to Beef Drop(2) Replace one of the bonus screens that will not work with recent changes.(3) Tweak speed and difficulty ramp up(4) Maybe change Pepper bonus object to a sprite (dependent on #1)(5) Maybe allow two player simultaneous play option (dependent on #1)

I haven't played Q-Bert on my PAL device yet (only emu).

Maybe I'll check it next weekend.

Do you implemented different PAL/NTSC palettes for Beefdrop?

Some colors could look better on PAL IMHO.

But it’s a cool version anyway :)

If there are any colors that seem off, let me know and I can try to swap them out in PAL mode with different colors.

Sounds great I will check out the latest version again and let you know which colors could be adjusted.

As far as I remember the meatball colors could be better.

Ahh, That sounds better.

When you said meatball, I was thinking of what was round, and the only thing I could think of was the pickles.

I hope you didn't changes the colors/palette during the last versions because I used an older one to figure out the PAL colors.

The following (in game) colors would be better for PAL IMHO:

P0C1 now $35 better $45

P0C3 now $16 better $26

P1C3 now $c9 better $e9

P2C1 now $1c better $2c

P2C2 now $13 better $23

P4C1 now $37 better $47

With this settings the colors looks more like the NTSC version on the emulator.
