Elevator Events: Day 3

So one of the things got crossed off my to do list: Make the elevators start at random y positions. But one thing is the same: They all start moving down. I have an idea on how to change it but I don't know how. What I want to do is check the rightmost bit and if it's a 1 (odd number), start moving up and if it's a 0 (even) start moving down. But I don't know how to check certain bits. e5frog and I worked on the random y position problem. We got it working good. But even after making three games, there is still a lot I don't know how to do when it comes to making them (like checking certain bits).

Still need to play Elevators Amiss. I got a Wii a few days ago since I lost mine. It was only $60 at the used video game store, so I did it. Played a couple of games that I found that I had. I don't remember the sensor bar thing being so annoying. I'm glad they got rid of that idea because it was stupid. I barely have enough room to sit it on the top of my flat screen TV. I was wondering why the discs weren't working until I realized I had set the Wii down in a way that the discs were going in upside down.

I've been going to sleep at 2 p.m. and waking up at 1 a.m. lately. I should be asleep right now like a normal person, but I don't want to go back to sleep since I just slept for 11 hours.

I think I figured it out. I had an idea, so I went to the VES Wiki and looked up controller data getting. It said to keep certain nybbles, you do ni %00001111. So I tried just doing ni %00000001 just to keep that last bit and it worked. The starting directions of the elevators are more random now.
