Narrow road
I worked on Stupidman today. I narrowed the road to the grocery store.
That isn't all I did. I spent an hour trying to make the text "PAUSED." appear under the score when the game is paused. I had to put it in all the times the game can be paused (the action scenes). This took at least an hour to do. I had to move the famistudio song updating code around a little bit to make it work. I don't know why it would matter where it is, but apparently it does. I guess everything has to be in just the right spot for things to work. I also made the car a little wider so it can block more road and make the game a tiny bit harder.
Last night I also worked on Stupidman. I made it so every second you're in the museum, your point total gets subtracted by one. I felt that the way it was was way too easy. So now I can work on the chicken migration in act 3 the next time I choose to work on Stupidman. I still have no clue how much room I have left, but I think the game is bigger than Hamburgers at this point. We'll see what happens and if I can finish the game using just 32k. I plan to make the chickens start at either the left hand side or the right hand side randomly, and also randomly choose when they start crossing the road.
