Uncle Hairy appears on Odyssey² (part 2)
I decided to do away with the nosehair pulling demon and instead have a bit of snot hanging on the end. You can't cut into the snot (it's rock hard snot), but you can cut into the hair and make it shorter. Like I said before, I had to make the y movement of the scissors similar to that of Tunnels of Terror. Because there is a ton of math involved in trying to make the hair counter's value be the same to make a cut from anywhere look good. It took me an hour alone to figure out what I did here now. And I'm not good at math and I'm not very good at Odyssey² programming even though I've been doing it for almost a decade.
I sleep a lot. I sleep because I don't like living. I figure if I sleep, I don't have to live much. I slept for 15 hours today. It's that annoying time when I'm awake that is stupid. So in order to make myself have fun, I make these little video game programs. If you handed me a gun, I would shoot myself in the head with it and not think twice. Which is why nobody that knows me wants to do so. I think that's why I'm sleepy all the time: It's my brain telling me "I don't want to be awake, Chris, so get me back to sleep!" I don't know.
Why is there snot hanging on the end of the nosehair? To disguise the fact that the nosehair's brown part is moving 12 pixels at a time because I can't design it to be 1 pixel at a time (Odyssey²'s fault, not mine). So I put a snot dangling and that hides what would be the oddly looking growth of it. I put a counter in so that when it reaches 12 it grows. Since I had to start the game with the counter at 4, and each time you cut the hair, it has to reset to 7, tons of math I don't know is required.
