Here is the first of a handful of Halloween/horror themed games I plan to post my thoughts on - "House of Usher" is a small freeware (1.37 MBs) platform game that is controlled via the keyboard. You are a man armed with a gun and unlimited ammo,pretty good vertical jumping ability, and 3 lives. The game really has no music but it does have spooky sound effects that fit the visuals (see screenshot below). Those of us who prefer classic platform games will appreciate this one no matter how short of time we may spend playing it.
