There are two things wrong with this. With the exception of the Smurfs game, replace the word "dollars" with "cents" and you've got about the right worth of those games (especially Combat.) Second: You didn't use the Marketplace forum.

There's only 2 ways he could have sold it for $1000

1) he found a sucker

2) he had a rare cartridge.

Checking the software list, the rarest item you have is the Smurf game, and its only a rarity of 4 meaning it might be worth a few dollars tops. The other 6 cartridges combined are probably worth the same as the Smurf game. If you have them CIB (complete in box w/manuals) they'll be worth more, but no where near $20-50 per cartridge.

The console itself might go for $20, provided it's clean and in good shape with controllers. It'll go for more if you have it CIB.

Do yourself a favor and do some research on ebay and Chase the Chuckwagon.

Combat, and Pacman are extremely common since they came with the Atari 2600 when it first came out. Space Invader is one of the first killer app game when it first came out for the Atari 2600, so it sold a lot of copy of it back in the days. E.T. is also extremely common, and told it was the worse game for that console. Asteroid is also very common and a lot of people also own this game.

Pacman worth almost nothing 1-50 cents each, because it isn't good game and extremely common.

E.T. is one of the most complicated game for a lot of people and people hated it because they didn't know how to play and the game variation are reversed so they were starting out the game on hard. It also caused the video game crash since Atari printed a more copy of this game than the number of console available. And it is worth 50 cents to atari-age, since you can trade these cartridge in. If you want to read more about this game. This site is awesome and informative http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-et.html .

Space Invader, probably worth $2-10 dollars because it's a great game, 110+ game varation and co-op fun. People do love great game ^_^.

Star Raider need a keyboard controller for it to work, unless you want to play with the difficulty switch to turn on attack computer and shield. It came with the game and has an overlay. If you have the keyboard controller and that game, they should be sold together because that what it came with when it came out. Without the complete package, I think it's not worth it. It's like selling Concentration/Memory Match(Which requires the keyboard control.) to people without the keyboard controller. I think the cart itself should sold about 2 dollars since it is so common. With the keyboard add 20 dollars. Complete in box would worth around 30 dollars or more.

Smurf, probably 10 dollars. The game has great graphics, sound, and made for kids.

Atari 2600 20-40 dollars +4-5 dollars shipping.
