  1. Hi everybody it has been long since I did’nt come here !! I have just spotted here (Switzerland) a really cool device Does anybody have seen this before ? It include 10 well known games: Asteroids, Pong, Yar`s Revenge, Adventure, Real Sports Volleyball, Centipede, Breakout, Missile Command, Gravitar, Circus Atari Here it sells for around 30 US$, not cheap but real cool looking
  2. Waht a nice way to present some items for sale ROTFLOL http://cgi.ebay.fr/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...&category=16147
  3. Thanks Matty for this cool link (and well done web site)
  4. I use 80% Explorer and 20% Opera But when I start to surf on the web, back in 1995, I was a truly devoted Netscape user But I'll give a try to Mozilla (currently downloading it) I use IE mainly because we run a newspapers/press site and that for compatability reason, most users run IE on any platforms, so we must be best viewed on the most used browser of earth (even if it comes from MicroSux)

    Cart Tracking

We definitely need a Macintosh version of a Cart Commander alike. I've tried it through VirtualPC on my Mac but it's reallly slow
  7. I personally prefer only to use car cockpit spray designed to give a real shiny plastic look after cleaned with that kind of spray I've never tried the clear coat spray on plastic.
  8. In the hardware section of AtariAge it misses the picture of the 2600 Jr "Short Rainbow" Why ? Is it so rare ? I always thought that the Junior was the most common 2600 of them all ??
  9. quote I agree 200 % percent , finally somebody else other than me who likes this game Another cool driving/mission game is Super Runabout
  10. Thanks for the tips ally of you guys.... My discs are clean and new or so (not burned ones) But I think that I should open it up and clean it a bit maybe it will help
  11. It has, started two days ago, I've tried to remove the modem unit, the VMU unit and the vibration unit just in case to check but it goes the same. I start playing and suddenly it reboot and goes to the main white Dreamcast screen. Needless to say it's really frustrating Anyone enconters the same problem TIA for responding
  12. I've encountered the same problem too with a french guy. Bought an 800 XL and a Commodore K7 unit in December on Yahoo !!!! This guy told me it was send and almost two month later after I ask him what happened with this lot seems surprised and argue that it was lost by the post but assure me that he has a second 800XL and was planning to send it. Since today I'm still waiting
  13. Haaaappy B-Day to the best vintage gaming site !!!!
  14. I'll buy an XBOX but not the 26th When it will get down to 199 Euros AND when GTA3 will be ported on it AND bundled with it, I'll consider
  15. Wolfgang if you need a power supply, you can use an Odyssey 2 which has the same output socket as the 7800. The only drawback is that you must open it and cross the output cable as voltage is inversed, but it 's easy to do. And locating a DC supply for Odyssey2 should be easier than one for a 7800 probably. I have already posted concerning this topic under 7800 message board
  16. I think it would have been better to put the big three one o the moment in a smaller tower (XBOX-GC-PS2) and maybe adding a Dreamcast as well - 4 CD driven consoles in one box would have been really cool. And to have made another tower with more cartridges based systems inside and better integrated , i.e front inserting cartridges. I hate the 2600 Jr only stuffed in Yoshi's box (it looks like "just to tell there is an Atari 2600 in it") But Yoshi has made a good job and it has probably taken some times to (sure )
  17. I agree with Al, the idea is interesting but a rack option would be the KILLER console by far.....and Yoshi forgot some Sega (Genesis or DC) IMHO
  18. I had screen problems with three different Nintendo NES but it was never coming from the original "automatic" RF switch Nintendo. You can try with another RF switch, like a manual one to be sure, but I'm almost certain that it comes from the *%/&£ connector inside the NES. Just dismantle the NES and bend each parts of the connector with a small jewel-screwdrivers (not too hard bend or you will perhaps broke it). Then it goes normally really well, carts are a little stiffer to push in it, telling you that you do your job well. On some consoles I have seen that after bending the whole parts of connector, it was not even necessary to push the cartrdige down when inserted, just insert it and voilà !
  19. The 2600 six switches because of the wood look and the fact that it 's an instant classic The 7800 because it can play all the 2600 carts I have and it has good titles of its own with far superior graphics (compared to the 2600) The Lynx, as AtariKen64 says is the best handheld made by Atari...and I agree (of course), but the best handheld (need big hands ) is the Sega Nomad without doubt. Just compare the two displays.
  20. Initially launched at 479 Euros it was sold without any profit.... But due to loose sales, Bill has decided to drop the price to 299 Euros !! Is it allowed to sell a product far lower than it's prduction cost ??
  21. One of the rarest(or cheapest ) find was an Odyssey2 mint with 10 cartridges all in their cardboard boxes (not the plastic ones) and to top it the cartridge 43 with all the bells and whistles in the box (boardgames, pieces and so on)....I just pick it up for free !!! Beside this I found Mission Cobra for NES rated as ER for 2.00$ In the 2600 area, my rarest cart is Obelix (PAL) rated probably 7 or 8 (10 in NTSC)
  22. quote Did ou pay a lot ? because I remember to have seen AlbertNoi and La Retrotienda prices and thought they're was really high

  24. Holà Carlos, bienvenidos. One more European member, that's great. I went to Spain too some times and more now since I married my wife who comes from your delightful "enemies" the Portugal And I agree, spanish girls are beautiful as are portuguese and italians babes too As for pirate 2600 consoles, like some others members here, I bought mine from Spain too, and it seems Spain has a lot of clones to sell (not the cheapest ones by the way, mucho caro !)
