  1. yeap, I would, I'll email you. Brad
  2. I just picked up a heavy sixer and a four switch with two of the switches broke off. I can use the one of the other switches to fix another system I have. I also got pac-man and a joystick. All for $5.50. Not the best in the world, but I think it was a pretty cool find. Now I have a Jr, heavy sixer, sears six switch, and a four-switch woodgrain. Later, Brad
  3. I got quite a good feeling when I beat lost levels for teh first time. Hell, I did the next couple times as well. Lost levels is a nice little challenging game. All the others have challenging parts in places, most people just like to warp around them. Playing one all teh way through is a awful fun but just takes a long time. Brad
  4. Glad to see i'm not the only person using old toothbrushes. And I'm glad that ol' moycon uses em exactly the way I do. On an old 4 switch I found buried in a pawn shop it took me a long time to scrub that old thing. They just don't want to come clean sometimes. Brad
  5. If there's anything I can find out for you while I'm putting it back together I'll do that. I have three agmes I think. I know baseball and spitfire. Not sure on the other. It's not too likely we'll ever happen upon some tech info on it, but you never know. Any help I can provide, I will. Brad
  6. "Tech info? On channel F? LOL" ok, ok, I figured it was a long shot... I'll look over at classicgaming.com... thanks... Brad
  7. I have an Intellivision 2 that the output doesnt work all that good and the games don't work reliably. Does anyone know some good tech info on the Intellivion 2 and some common repair and troubleshooting info? Also, I have Fairshild channel F I'm putting back together and was wondering if anyone had tech info on that? Brad
  8. Anyone know anything about some victor maxx goggle thing. I saw one at a pawn shop, and was thinking about picking it up. I've read they can be used on a lot fo gaming systems and all that. Does anyone have one and know how they work, etc? Brad
  9. I'd have to say my favorite is actually SMB 2. I think it's awesome. Sometimes it's hard to decide if my fave ain't SMB 3 or 1 though. On average though, Id say it goes 2, 1, 3. World wasn't bad as well. There all good. What does everyone think of Wario Land on the Virtual Boy? I think it was pretty good myself. Brad
  10. I agree totally. I'd check the connection to the TV and even some of the non-automatic TV game switches aren't all that hot on keeping a good signal. Try a different switch if you can, and if at all possible use a simple RCA to Coax connector to minimize signal loss and interference. I have a Gemini Tv/Game switch and I might as well just keep the atari sitting beside the TV without it plugged in, with the signal being so bad. Brad
  11. a friend of mine used to have a 400, and I was going to check to see if he still did and if I could get it off of him. I was wondering about their rarity. I used to have some fun playing jungle hunt on it. Later, Brad
  12. I think the CD feature would've been a nice addition. Better than that, I would've like to have seen a cartridge game that could've loaded data off of the disc. Levels, FMV, and what-not. Would've freed up some cart space and allowed for some neat stuff to be done. Brad
  13. I personally plan on doing some purchasing from the goat store after I start getting some pay checks.
  14. I guess it's just that Appalachian wisdom you got, but I think you got most of the stuff you need in there. Instead of the air duster, for the outside of a newly acquired dusty system, I take it out in the garage and use the air compressor. hehe, more power. I keep a some toothbrushes, the vital alcohol, cheap, stiff paper-towels (for nintendo connector cleaning), precision and normal screwdrivers, my gamers screwdriver set ( with torx and security bits), and thats about all I can think of. Brad
  15. I've never tried with four player either. It would have to be awesome. THat just makes me think of how much I need to get some more control pads for my Jag. Too bad you can't find them cheap anywhere. Brad
  16. Tron Arcade rocks! I've been wanting to get some arcade machines, but it's a little rough around here to get started. My friend does have a pac-man machine though. Her dad used to own an arcade, and kept it. He used to have centipede too, but I think he got rid of it.
  17. I agree that NBA Jam is awesome. It's a great 2 player. Anotehr 2 player game that you don't here too much about is Raiden. This is one of my fave games on the Jag for 2 player fun. Other favorites include Tempest 2000, ValDIsre Skiing and Snowboarding, and Pitfall:Mayan Adventures. There aren't too many games that I have on the Jag that I don't really like though. The ones I mentioned are just favorites. Take it easy, Brad
  18. There are some rare games in that ad, aren't they? Haven't we learned from the past that ads probably don't mean anything about development though? We can look at a bunch 2600 game ads, and especially the Atari Jaguar. There were a million ads and picture of games that I don't think anyone gave a thought about hardly. I guess I'm just bitter. I want my Highlander 2 and 3 on Jag CD. Brad
  19. http://www.crownhill.co.uk/item258.htm there you go, cut and past. There is info you can use on the 7805 voltage regulator. Brad
  20. I deleted the original message, because it was just rambling and not much correctness. Please check below for info on the regulator. Brad [ 04-09-2002: Message edited by: wolfgang ]
  21. A few years back I was planning on posting a classic video games ad website, and when I graduate in a few weeks, I was thinking about doing it. I have a ton of old comic books with really cool atari, colecovision, and intellivision ads and was thinking about scanning them all and have them up on a website. I had logos and stuff, and was oging to call it the atari ad archive. Anybody be interested in that? Brad
  22. Hehe. I remember playing that game way back when. It's sort of enjoyable. And it's pretty fun just to make the huy crash. Brad
  23. how handy are you with an multimeter? Well, I'd say find someone you trust who knows some electronics and let them look at it. If I was closer I would. You just need to see if the problem can be seen, or is deeper. And if it is a replaceable part. Brad
  24. cool. They look very good, aimie. Hmmm. Why do those links only work when you cut and paste? Thats weird. Brad
  25. oh really, pitfallaimie? I'll expect to get an autographed copy then. Is there a website with screenshots and info on the 5200 airworld? Brad
