Got two original Sega Genesis 3-button controllers cheap that were a dirty mess - I LOVE the original Genesis 3-button controllers!
The Start and fire buttons didn't work and the D-pads barely moved when pressed.
After opening up the controllers (and it took a good while to get some of the rusted and mostly stripped screws out) I washed all plastic parts, cleaned all contacts multiple times, used a few sprays of electronic contact cleaner, re-assembled, and they both work fine now.

Thanks so much for the ROMS and manuals.
And a Happy and Healthy New Year to all of you!!!

No doubt Axelay is a top 16-bit shooter and one of the few excellent shooters on the SNES.
Like Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis, it's too bad a sequel was never made.

Emu or are you a Rockefeller who owns a MUSHA cart?
I will say that Sonic 1 is underrated. Glad to see it get some love still.
This was played on the Kega Fusion emulator last night. Didn't feel like setting up a Genesis system and wanted a little Sonic 1 playtime before shutting down my PC.
The original Sonic The Hedgehog on the Genesis is one of my Top 5 video games of all time to this day and I have the original cart with along with the system in its box from Dec. '92 (bought from Electronics Boutique for $119.95).
As for MUSHA (also among my Top 5 video games), I owned two original copies complete in box and sold them for a few hundred $ each probably around 10 years ago.
I got very lucky acquiring one copy as I bought a Genesis system (complete in box) with a dozen or so games all complete in box and MUSHA and Mega Turrican were included.
I paid around $100 for it all from a local guy who was moving and he posted it on Craigslist.
That was a very rare stroke of luck because that haul would easily go for a good $700 today, if not much higher.
I do, however, own a Repro copy of MUSHA with its box, manual, and extras that I bought about five years ago from a guy who was doing high-quality reproductions of Genesis games using the standard ROM boards, not the Chinese-junk thicker boards that can damage the cartridge slot and as far as i'm concerned it's as good in every way as the original MUSHA cart. I paid something like $20 for it. Here's a few pics of it...

Is anyone doing Mattel handheld game repairs?

Electronic Gaming Monthly.
Mostly the 1992, 1993, and 1994 issues when the Genesis and SNES were in heated competition and the games were pouring into the market.
EGM had the best layout, reviews, and images of the 16-bit games and hardware.
I still have mine from those years and look back at them periodically and have been motivated to try games I never played before.
Here's a few images...

I have the Mega Everdrive Pro and the Mega SD. I prefer the Mega SD. Some Sega CD games don't work on the MEP. Everything seems to work fine on the MSD.
I've found that the Mega SD plays every ROM (.md, .bin,. smd, .gen) while the MEP doesn't.
Also every game Genesis genie code i've tried works on the Mega SD but not the MEP.
It sucks that Terraonion stopped supporting the Mega SD - if they would only do a firware update to allow SMS save states it would be far superior to the MEP.
I'm very happy with the Mega SD but it could be so much better.

Thanks for the link.
There's a download of the snapshots in folders for each system.
I assume each snapshot needs to be placed in the same directory where its rom is located.
I'll check that out.

Can anyone explain to me how to get the cheat codes to work?
I have the latest version (SNES9X 1.60 and 64 bit).
I've tried entering the codes manually as well as selecting codes from the included list and they don't work.
Even resetting the emulator after loading a game and then selecting a cheat code won't work.

Would be nice if it included the library of Sega CD games.
Downloading ROM's from the internet seems to be a thing of the past.

Yes, although we strongly suggest to support the publishers (Opcode, Team Pixelboy et..)
That's great.
I have bought several Super Games from Pixelboy over the years.
But it will be nice (and convenient) to be able to play those Super Games (via ROM on SD card) on the Phoenix.

Question regarding the Phoenix system:
Will it run all of the Super Game ROM images from an SD card?
