  1. Play Space Invaders...Insert Coin Here...

  2. 5200 Frenzy could be the definitive version with the dual joystick gameplay and i'd buy it right away.
  3. Another Stupor Bowl blowout in progress, i'm breaking out my Atari 2600 for some real thrills.

  4. Alligata (eagle empire, phoenix, loco, who dares wind I, II).
  5. I wouldn't mind getting a Vic-20 in perfect working order.
  6. Yurkie's refurbished power supply is great. Now i've got two reliable bricks. This is a fantastic service for the ColecoVision community as it will help keep those 30+ year old systems running. P.S. BEWARE "New" power bricks for sale, chances are they're DOA, and that includes the power bricks included with those "New and Sealed" ColecoVision systems you see on ebay.
  7. Honk if you think ebay's website gets worse each year...

  8. Sounds great. Power brick on its way to get a new lease on life! (and controller too).
  9. Another Ebay innovation: changing Saved Searches to Searches You Follow - absolutely brilliant!

Gotta keep loving the changes done to their user interface. Keeps getting worse and worse, not to mention their fee schedule.

  10. If Yurkie can do a solid reliable power brick mod i'll buy two right away and I have one (maybe two if I can find it) bricks that are non-functional that I can send to him. I've got three CV consoles and one functional power brick. Opcode should have done a CV console remake with an internal power supply & connection.
  11. I downloaded Mame32v103b from Mame 32 downloads (http://www.mame32-roms.chessman21.com/) and it works great - except Berzerk doesn't work(?). For the first time I played Buck Rogers (and downloaded the sample for it too) and have mixed opinions about it. Tranferred the hiscoredat file and just need to play with the emulator settings a little. Thanks guys.
  12. Ok, i'll try an updated version of MAME and take it from there - thanks.
  13. Using MAME32b-036 emulator has served well for many years (under Windows XP). In recent months, one by one, the ROM files are becoming unusable (and downloading a new copy of the ROM doesn't help). Would anyone know why and have a solution to resolving this? Thanks.
  14. If anyone has sent their consoles in for repair can you give me their name(s) and your opinion of the work done? Thanks.
  15. You know what i'd like to see, i'd like to see a Genesis version of the Supaboy, that's what i'd like to see!

there is also the original sega product you can still find for good prices, the Nomad.

  16. I've seen two sellers from Venezuela and they respond fast to e-mails. They have a lot of great classics for many systems. I'm considering buying a few games from them but the shipping timespan is horrendous.
  17. NINE freaking days without electricity - atleast I had my Sega Nomad and FC 16 Go to keep my sanity!

We got the juice back on yesterday afternoon here on Long Island. Woke up to an inch of snow today but tomorrow will be around 50 degrees.

  18. Three rare Mattel re-makes from the 1970's, all new and sealed in their factory plastic. Asking $100 with free priority mail shipping (paid through paypal). Thanks.
  19. So far 309,900 My favorite game for the Colecovision.
  20. Raiden Trad was one of the first Genny games I ever bought and one of my favorites. MUSHA, Air Buster, Truxton/Grinstormer/Fire Shark, Gaiares and Hellfire are really fun but super tough, Elemental Master is cool, Thunderforce series (especially III), Mega Turrican is a top 5 for me.
  21. Just received my second a/v modded/refurbished Colecovision console and as usual, a great job done by Yurkie. If you need Colecovision work done, Yurkie is up to the challenge, and i'll be requesting more of his services soon. Thanks as always, Mark
  22. I just received my a/v modded Colecovision console from Yurkie and it's awesome! The picture is crystal clear and bright and the system is incredibly reliable. In fact, i'm sending him my glitchy system that's needed a good tune-up for years, plus that a/v mod! Great work by Yurkie, thanks for renewing my love for the Colecovision!
  23. Does anybody know if a 1980's tv commercial compilation exists? I just found out about Atarimania's online video collection (http://www.atarimania.com/list_videos_atari_page-_7-_2.html) and would love to get these on dvd. If so, please let me know where to buy it?? Thanks.
