  1. I love that site, he is honest in his views and humorous, good exposure for this game!
  2. Mendon that is an excellent post. I cannot believe this is even a discussion and the gaming companies expect anyone to buy their reasoning. Let's keep in mind BEFORE and game can even become "used" and cheaply available it had to of been sold NEW at retail. Once that process is done that is the end of it and the end of any further profit the game company should expect, period. My god they just keep reaching and coming up with any excuse to nickel and dime us. If they want to play word games and come up with excuses then hey I could say "Well the guy that sold the new game he bought, completed and sold at a used game store, maybe he put his credit towards ANOTHER new game!" how about that scenario? They can talk market statistics and theories etc all they want but the bottom line is it is company greed plain and simple.
  3. Bottom line, WHO CARES? If he previously has a good history of transaction and a good rep over all then let it alone, he doesn't owe anyone anything regardless of specualtion. What's done is done, bojay1997 unless you personally have had a bad transaction with him just drop it! He does not need to prove anything to you and at this point you are the one coming off like a troll, if you have a problem with him DON'T DEAL WITH HIM otherwise nobody gives a crap about your specualtion or conspiracy theorizes, he has done nothing wrong.
  4. Wish this damn PHOENIX would hurry the hell up and rise so I can see what this is about!
  5. What is that? Link or info please? Look here: https://www.atari2600.com/item--Champ-Joystick-Adapter--PROD7279.html Trust me, it worth every penny! I believe it, the question is HOW DID I MISS IT ALL THIS TIME?
  6. Ironically the current debate on the site (n4g.com) revolves around what they'll do now, they can't very well disable usb support and this device is updateable. Actually you make a good point. Hmmm I never doubted the PS3 would be cracked (they ALL fall eventually) but I never saw it coming in this form, sounds like a nightmare for Sony.
  7. Well I hope so lol! I just now bought two! It will be nice using my Sega Genesis Gamepad on my Colecovision and this seemed the easiest/cheapest way!
  8. I have seen that but did not order thinking it was the opposite of what I wanted, the description: ATA26ACC0011 - Joystick ’Y’ Adapter Cable Joystick ’Y’ Adapter Cable, 9 pin male/female ends, Compex Co., New. Permits one joystick to be connected to two jacks where normally two joysticks are required. Price: $3.95 Should it not be described as connecting TWO joysticks to ONE jack? Allowing the use of the Colecovision controller and another gamepad simultaneously? From what I can see it LOOKS like it does what I want, is the description incorrect?
  9. That is good to know! I have a Sears Video Arcade and did not even know that lol!
  10. Exactly, if he can no longer do it for the love of it then so be it.
  11. I am current high bidder, but sadly I have not met the reserve bid, I factored in the $30 shipping (lowest option) what is a reasonable Total for this? If others could chime in, I am not asking Gemini to reveal his reserve.
  12. Ah that answers that THANKS! Guess it is time to open it up and see if I can determine WHY my lights do not come on...........ah well it least the games work.
  13. I am aware of the current Retron3 threads however I am planning my own review of the unit and as I want to be accurate I need the correct answers asap! Just received my Retron3, as my expectations were not high I am happy over all. I have 2 questions however. Please help me! 1. On the back of the unit between the Svideo and Composite AV out if a switch labeled "O/J" and for the life of me I cannot figure what this does if anything? 2. There is a little LED to the right of each cartridge slot, yet they do not appear to function. I expected them to light when powered on or a cartridge is inserted or even switching between cartridges but nothing I seems to do causes these to display. First I thought the console was not receiving power but the games load up fine. IS THIS NORMAL or is my unit defective? Thank you for your help! Here is my unboxing of the unit that I wish to follow with a detailed review THANKS SO MUCH!
  14. You're a dick. Agreed, Gamme you need to lighten the hell up! I was about to say that to you in the "Did the 2600 have its own Lara Croft or Samus Aran?" just before you edited your last post, no reason for the attitude.
  15. Man this thread title got me excited, Mr. Do! is my personal favorite Colecovision game, any enhancements would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
  16. zero since of humor, what ever dude. his form of humor is not funny in the slightest way, it just makes me sick to even hear about it. Considering his popularity it seems many would disagree HOWEVER I certainly would be the first to add FOR THE LOVE OF GOOD DO NOT attempt to do it in James or anybody else's "style" there are enough AVGN wanna-be's, 99% of whom SUCK, just do the research, be yourself and do it for the love of it period.
  17. Oh the Drama! What a can of worms that seems to of been opened, frankly I am pretty confused about all the little details but then I am no developer or programmer or making and selling product, just a guy who likes to play Colecovision, likes the convenience of the Atarimax 128 in 1 usb cart. I hope all parties involved are reasonably satisfied in the end but it sure is starting to look like there is no simple answers here, as with most things when everyone has views on rights/morals/entitlements etc. Ah well, sorry I have nothing to really contribute, I'm a pretty simple guy, hope you all can work something out.
  18. I really enjoy Biffs vids, well done and to the point! I think most people here would enjoy them!
  19. Downloaded, my lazy ass appreciates your efforts!
  20. I cannot resist, payment sent.
  21. I admire the intent and idea behind this HOWEVER the problem is what you end up with is free advertising for the offenders and a go to listing of to obtain copyright roms, so it kind of backfires in my opinion. For example, before the mention in the other thread I was not even aware of the roms being sold on that site, this point of view was mentioned already and that is why some wanted that thread closed/removed. Again, I am not pooping on your idea I think it is admirable but I think it attracts the wrong kind of attention and people.
