  1. Same. C- port of ever there was one but I’m glad the 7800 got a port too. Love the attempts to improve it, even without changing the core code! wish lt was 256K had a POKEY
  2. Did my ears miss something. Are people playing the game on the real machines now?
  3. Third fracken emergency visit thanks to sudden 40 Celsius temperature and lymphoma driven swelling feet, knee and legs.

wonder how long this will go on for?

Don't you miss the days we could walk outside and not fall apart? I sure do... I miss my back and knees. Stay strong! :)

I wish I knew what to say other than I hope things get better for you. :(

  4. Wouldn’t mind reading Commodore: The final years, but did hope there was a Kindle Edition for space, expediency reasons

This was the kickstarter edition Brian release just before Christmas - apparently contains more than the final hardcopy release as a bonus! Happy reading ?

Thanks for posting. Commodore is one of my favorite systems, and a fitting tribute to DracIsBack.

  5. So this was my plan when I got out of the hospital. Then I was to plug in my sd card into my Cuttle Cart 2 and the sd Card holder (is that’s what it’s called?) came loose and I haven’t been able to re attach correctly. If I can get it working or if anyone has any tips, let me know!
  6. Excellent ... glad to hear! Good luck with your hunt! Thanks for letting me know.
  7. TailChao - how how you felt about how 7800 sales have gone, thus far?
  8. While my Cuttle Cart 2 is on the fritz, any recommendations for 7800 emulators on the Mac?

  9. Today has not been the best day. Besides being punted around the hospital, the SD cart guide came loose in my Cuttle Cart 2. :-S (annoyed)

God, I hope you get out of there soon...

  10. It doesn’t support new bank switch schemes much beyond what was used in the life of the 7800. Chad Schell added a few himself but I think he’s dropped all support for the Cuttle Carts and I don’t believe anyone else knows how to code new bankswitch schemes. wish he’d at least document how it works so the community can do moving forward but his choice. ?
  11. Two overnight hospital stays in close succession is enough for me. Glad to be home! Whew

Thanks ... still trying to figure out where the cables for my systems were packed during the move so I can play more Atari too

  12. Thanks so much. Got sprung from my second hospital stay in four weeks last night. A build of Arkanoid is something to get one's spirits up! Exciting work being done here by you mksmith and you've got some legends on the homewbrew scene helping out with ideas. Arkanoid is a favorite of mine so I'm completely pumped!
  13. Um ZZIP ... not quite sure it’s as nefarious as you’re suggesting. Where the cash went is all outlined in final Atari Corp plus JTS sec filings
  14. I’m loving the responsive design of AtariAge forums

I like that little "Bloop" sound when something goes on.

That bloop sound took me right back to the original Lost in Space...   #lovemesomepenny

  15. Can’t wait for “Business is War”. Honestly hope i can stave off my lymphoma long enough to see my XM and a copy of this book, because I grew up with Tramiel Atari and they hold a special place in my heart. I’m amazed at what they pulled off, given the size they were, the capital they had etc. We all armchair ceo with the benefit of 20 20 hindsight (myself included) but I find their story fascinating and far less clear than Warner Atari
  16. Loving the new forums! Great work, Al!

  17. sweet ... thanks Al. Must be a ton of work to do all this, but wow is the result already a big bump up! Typing on my tablet and loving it!
  18. Love the new look of the forums. For some reason, the attachments (ie. BINs and Photos) are not rendering correctly at the moment. Also, the emoticons for thanks seem to be limited a bit. But kinks like this are normal in any situation. I *love* the reactive design. It's so nice to be able to have the same experience on my computer, phone and tablet now.
  19. The attachments didn't come through for some reason but looking forward to trying out the build on my Cuttle Cart later today. Found my CRT in the storage crate last night ... whoohoo!

Thanks so much for sharing you work with us! :-)
  21. You hit the nail with the hammer I think. Many 7800 games themselves were licensed from other parties and Atari themselves didn't own the rights to many of the games directly.
  22. Perhaps it's because I started on the 7800 version and then played the C64 one ... I just don't see that much of a difference personally. But I can get it if you grew up on the C64 classic and then tried the 7800 port later. They just seemed really similar to me personally.
